Tex Mex Motors Trailer reveals an upcoming high-speed series taking a stop at Netflix in the coming month. It is a reality series where a team of professionals will show how they turn abandoned cars into something that everyone would want to get their hands on. But the process is not that easy, that’s for sure.
Netflix’s description of the series reads, “Junkers turn into jewels when they’re in the hands of these pros, who bring cars from Mexico to El Paso for radical restorations in this lively series.” Gear heads who are interested in knowing how to upgrade their own vehicles & what all is needed to be done will surely find some valuable tips from the restoration crew.

The trailer starts with one of the crew members saying that it’s hard to find a well-priced classic car in the US. But Mexico remains a virtual gold mine of forgotten and undervalued classics. So what do they do? They search for such rare finds in the junkyards and get them over the border to work on them.

However, that’s just step 1, the main work is to turn them into one-of-a-kind masterpieces that would attract buyers willing to pay the top price. And for this series, they set up a shop right in El Paso where we will see them working on different cars & maybe even encounter clients, looking to upgrade their own.
One of the featured cast includes Rob Pitts aka Rabbit, who even owns a YouTube channel with over 124,000 subscribers. He has bought and sold thousands of cars all over the USA and will be extending his expertise to the viewers of the show. Previously, another Netflix series titled ‘Drive Hard: The Maloof Way‘ dealt along the same lines of customising the cars.
However, the cast of the show, Sammy Maloof specializes in building high horse-powered racing engines with his special custom combinations. His work has been featured in many popular magazines and television shows. Apart from that, he is also a Hollywood stuntman for over 25 years, with a long list of movies such as Mission Impossible, Fast and Furious, Burn Notice, Three Kings, The Hitcher and many more.
