Legendary K-pop boy band iKON made a huge announcement a few days back, and the fans cannot keep calm. The group dropped the news that they will be touring again, which will include many more locations than their previous concerts. Take Off 2023 will be commencing soon, within a couple of months.
The boy group was formed in 2015 under YG Entertainment and had a line-up of seven members. However, they did not renew their contracts and are now under 143 Entertainment with six members: Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne and Chan. B.I, aka Hanbin, departed from the original line-up in 2019.
Following the group’s departure from YG Entertainment, the world tour will be their major scheduled event under the new management. Group members Bobby, Kim Jinhwan, Song Yunhyeong, Kim Donghyuk, Goo Junhoe, and Jung Chanwoo signed under 143 Entertainment on January 1, 2023, and announced their plans for a full group comeback.
The tour will commence in May 2023 in Japan till September 2023 in North America. The locations vary across Asia, Europe and America. iKon World Tour will start from Tapei and Tokyo in May, followed by Manila, Madrid, Essen, Florence and Singapore in June. In July, they will hold concerts in Paris, Osaka, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. The last stops will be in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Dallas and Los Angeles in September.
However, the dates have not been announced yet, but all will be revealed very soon by the management. Including the tour, details about Bobby’s second solo single have also been released. It is expected that the group’s album will be released soon after, most likely in April 2023.
The last album the boy band released was back in 2022, Flashback, with the title track But You. Additionally, they held a Japan Tour 2022 in Kobe and Tokyo, with almost every show sold out. Shortly after the schedules, they refused to renew the contracts with the previous management and left the company after seven years.

The solo album is iKON’s official first project under the new management. Following the solo release, a group album will follow next month.
