K-pop girl group KARA’s Nicole is a sight to behold in her latest comeback teaser for the digital single Mysterious, premiering this week. After nearly a year’s wait, the artist is finally ready to drop a musical treat that we can’t wait for. She last released yet another digital single album titled You.F.O. in July 2022.
Prepping for the release date, and to give a taste of what’s to come, the singer put out the first look of the single on her social media which showed her adorning a black outfit against a dark setting, with a red light in the final cut alleviating the drama quotient of the image. Today, i.e. on March 7, two days before the D-day, the teaser for the upcoming titular music video has also found its way to us.
First look sported by the artist is a soft one, but as soon as the scene transforms, we get a glimpse of her sitting underneath a grand chandelier in a room that oozes extravagance. She can be seen sitting on a velvety couch, wearing a half-white-half-red dress with puffy sleeves that add elegance to her style. For the next look, she assumes a bold stance with her stellar bright red lip shade while adorning twinkling droplets on her ears. Her black sequinned dress finds a suitable partner with her quirky head gear.
The video is indeed a fashion showdown, just as much as its whole vibe. The Mysterious tune brings on beats heavy on bass and the track’s melody is alluring and fashionably appealing, just like Nicole’s avatar as seen in the teaser, which is but a snippet of the whole deal that is yet to launch.
Nicole is an American singer based in South Korea who originally debuted as a member of the girl group KARA in 2007. The group’s members have been shuffling ever since, but Nicole finally reunited with them in November 2022 for their special 15th Anniversary album Move Again. Helming the positions of the main rapper, main dancer, and vocalist in the group, she also came out with her solo debut mini album First Romance in 2014
