Stranger Things 4: Watch Sadie Sink aka Max’s Emotional ‘Dear Billy’ Letter

Stranger Things 4 was released on May 27, and fans are still talking about it. Volume 1 had 7 long episodes in which we were introduced to the new Hawkins monster, Vecna. The latest season got fans quite emotional as they got to see Eleven’s journey before she ran away from the Hawkins lab. One episode that fans loved the most is ‘Dear Billy’.

‘Dear Billy’ is the fourth episode of Stranger Things 4. In this episode, Sadie Sink’s character Max realises she is Vecna’s next target. Max is worried about dying and hence, decides to write a letter to everyone important to her. She also writes a letter to her stepbrother Billy (Dacre Montgomery), who died in season 3 because of the Mind Flayer.

The official Twitter account of Stranger Things shared the video where Max reads her letter to Billy. Max and Billy didn’t share an ideal brother-sister relationship in the show. They fought a lot and didn’t like each other much. Yet, the letter was quite impactful and emotional. She reads the letter in front of Billy’s tombstone.

Max writes in her letter to Billy, “Ever since you left, everything’s been a total disaster. And the worst part is I can’t tell anyone why you’re gone. I can’t tell them you saved El’s life, that you saved my life. I play that moment back in my head all the time.”
