Disha Patani, an established Indian actor is celebrating her birthday, as she turns 30 today. Born on 13 June 1992, Disha started her acting career with the Telugu film Loafer in the year 2015, starring Varun Tej but unfortunately, the film didn’t perform well at the box office. She later appeared in a music video for the song Befikra along with Tiger Shroff which was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series.
Disha Patani found her commercial break with Neeraj Pandey’s M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), a biographical sports film based on the life of MS Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian Cricket Team. The film also starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani, where Disha Patani played the role of Dhoni’s girlfriend who dies in an accident.
Receiving much praise for her role, she then starred in a series of films including Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga (2017), Baaghi 2 (2018), Bharat (2019) with Salman Khan, Malang (2020) and Prabhu Deva’s action film Radhe (2021) to name a few. She is also set to star in the upcoming film by Mohit Suri called Ek Villain Returns and in Karan Johar’s Yodha opposite Sidharth Malhotra.

The actor was actually the first runner-up of Pond’s Femina Miss India Indore 2013 before venturing into movies and comes from a family of professionals, where her father is a police officer and mother a health inspector. And as contrary to what we know of her name, she revealed in a radio show that her real surname was Patni rather than Patani. So, all the people who misspelt her surname are forgiven.
