Stranger Things 4: Meet Martie Blair, Actor Who Played Young Eleven in Volume 1

Stranger Things 4 Volume 1 has been breaking records ever since its release on Netflix. The latest season of the sci-fi horror series broke the record for the biggest English language TV show debut with 286.7 million hours viewed over the weekend. It surpassed the record earlier held by the second season of Bridgerton with 193 million hours viewed. But its endless theories are not the only thing that is boggling the minds of its audience.

In the fourth season of the series, we see Dr Brenner making Eleven recall her time at the Hawkins lab to help her relive her trauma and experience to gain her superpowers back. Now the question arises that in the flashbacks, is it Millie Bobby Brown who plays the young Eleven with a de-ageing special effect or another person altogether?

While many fans believed it to be Millie only but to break the news, the young eleven was actually played by Martie Blair. This is her second role in a TV series and earlier played the role of Bella Fischer on the soap opera, The Young and the Restless and has been in a handful of short films like The Sugar & Bones Club and Safe.

In both the opening scene and flashbacks to the massacre, the younger version of Eleven is seen on the screen. However, with the help of CGI, Millie’s face is rather superimposed on Martie Blair’s face. Therefore, we never really see the face of the young actress in its originality. But looking at Martie’s Instagram pictures, there seems to be an uncanny resemblance between the two.
