There are flashes of evil grinning with a layer of a mystic soundtrack. We can observe that the inmate knows something about the eccentric happenings. Furthermore, the facial gestures reveal his familiarity with the topic, and also his hesitancy to take any interest in it.

However, the tension breaks when the doctor makes the big revelation. The inmate Robert Talley freaks out and wants her to stay away from him. Robert knows that the doctor has the curse, and does not want any part of it.

The tone shifts to normal but not for long. The trailer sweeps into the cause of horror and reveals the real identity behind it. We can see Dr.Rose explaining a weird type of smile that follows her everywhere.

The feaking-out incident of the prison had not settled in, and we witness another horrific outburst. A random patient of Dr. Rose dawns the killing smile. She even tries to bring him to a normal state, but the cursed grin reappears.

The next few montages hint toward the repercussions of the haunting smile. With several smiling individuals attempting to harm Dr. Rose. Notably, her odd-looking therapist, a birthday celebrating teenager, and another one of her patients.

Fire also plays the due course in the unsettling trailer. Including slight glimpses of matchsticks, transitioning into an unknown burning individual. At last, the scale of horror crosses all the limits. When a young girl knocks on the window of a car and drops her head down. Finishing with an extreme and trademark horror sequence.

All in all, the trailer gives eerie vibes, and looks a lot like Hereditary, in terms of the psychological concept. It also feels like a Jordan Peele experiment, where horror preys on the most innocent thing, a SMILE.
