Sky High The Series Trailer: Asia Ortega Joins the Gang of Thieves to Become the Crime Boss

Sky High The Series Trailer shows how Sole deals with her partner’s death and makes a name for herself in the crime world. The upcoming Spanish crime thriller series is created by Daniel Calparsoro and Jorge Guerricaechevarría. It is produced by Vaca Films with executive producers Jorge, Borja Pena and Emma Lustres.

The cast of the series includes Asia Ortega Leiva as Sole, Luis Tosar as Rogelio, Álvaro Rico as Fernan, Richard Holmes as Poli, Patricia Vico as Mercedes, Fernando Cayo as Duque, Alana La Hija del Jeque as Rosa, Áyax Pedrosa as Motos, Dollar Selmouni as Gitano and Carmen Sánchez as Marta.

Following the events right after the film Sky High, the series follows Sole who decides that the best way to take care of her son, after Angel’s death, is to become a crime boss — even if that means being her father’s enemy. And to remain independent of her father, who’s a stolen goods trafficker, Sole mom joins her late husband’s gang of smash-and-grab thieves.

While the film shows Angel’s rise from poverty to the leader of gangs, living a thrilling life of crime. In the sequel series, we see Rogelio trying to imply the meaning of family and how they are not conventional people. Living on the edge, they have to be together to help each other but his daughter doesn’t seem to have any plans to join him.

Determined to make a living for herself, Sole will find new allies along the way who will help her to unravel the mystery of the deaths that have marked her destiny. While she makes contact with the gang of thieves and manages to win their trust so that she can once again carry out robberies as ambitious as those of the old days.

But the journey to find her place in this thrilling crime world will not be easy, with the police behind Rogelio’s business and now Sole as well, as she is deemed as the main organiser in all of it. There are also rumours of a police officer who has infiltrated Rogelio’s men and might be onto her too. Meanwhile, the other mafia can not sit back and let others run the underground world and make her compete for what she strives to achieve – which is to rob a big castle.
