SISTAR19 No More (Ma Boy) MV: Bora and Hyolyn Passionately Set Their Old Love Scars Ablaze

Post their 11 year break, Bora and Hyolyn have finally reunited, as the sub-unit that originally debuted in 2011, to make way for the SISTAR19 No More (Ma Boy) MV, signalling the arrival of their brand new digital single. The video released on the KLAP ENTERTAINMENT YouTube channel on January 16 at 6 PM KST. Owning their sensuality in the midst of the love scene gone cold, the duo has come back strong, proudly admitting that “Nobody is perfect”, but their fans may state otherwise.

Continuing their old music storyline that kicked off with their debut single Ma Boy, Bora and Hyolyn have finally found closure and the answer to their problems as they bid farewell to their old love scars in the latest SISTAR19 comeback. With their blazing sensuality, the duo has returned with a mature concept, starring as cowgirls with an attitude that says “No More” to all their past troubles. As these former SISTAR girls rebranded their identity by adding the simple number 19 to their name, they sought to express love and emotional outpour that could relatably reach out to girls around that age.

While their old song, that has been aptly recalled in the new single’s title as well, was a call for young and sweet love, other songs like Gone Not Around Any Longer carried the sentiment forward and fleshed out a break up song, thus shaping out a well-rounded narrative. With No More, these girls have finally had time to mull over the brokenhearted moments and are able to let go of it and move on with a calm mindset that is at peace with what’s happened.

The SISTAR19 No More music video features countering images of locations such as a cowboy bar, and then a snowcapped look at the outdoors where the duo brings heat with their fluid and appealing choreography.
