Shrinking Episode 10 Preview

Shrinking Episode 10 will conclude the comedy-drama series centred around the grief-ridden therapist and his associates. The last instalment of the show is titled closure and hence acts as the final testament of Jimmy’s recovery from the past incidents

We can expect some friction between Jimmy and Alice, as the former is all set to move on and lead a new life of peace and calm. This is something that might not fit well with his teenage daughter, who is still processing the loss in her closed space and vulnerable attitude.

Moreover, the last episode will also lead to some wedding festivities as Brian gears up to marry his husband. And even though the chirpy attorney was unsure about making Jimmy his best man, the duo of best friends have finally reconciled over the issue. Notably, it will also be interesting to see how Jimmy handles the whole ordeal without messing things up.

The previous episode was all fun and had no tears (with a few exceptions), and did not concede any emotional damages. At first, it ventured into Jimmy’s decision to motivate Paul, to accept his lifetime achievement award in therapy. Followed by Gaby’s newly formed relationship of benefit with Jimmy.

The episode laid emphasis on Paul’s interaction with his daughter Meg (about the Las Vegas ceremony) and her refusal to accompany him on account of Paul’s self-centred professional matters. Morever, the instalment also features his courageous attempt to leave everything behind, and join her at the school play. Which comes as a surprise to Meg, as well as Paul’s new girlfriend.

In the end, the episode concluded on a positive note about everything except Alice. The teenage daughter realized that she completely forgot about her mother’s birthday and that Jimmy was the one who remembered it in the first place. Furthermore, when Jimmy tries to console her and make her accept this as a sign of moving forward, Alice infuriated left the room to settle with her own thoughts.

All in all, the season finale is set to another engaging instalment of the series, with a proper emphasis on the process of moving on. Notably, the finale will be filled with the usual anecdotes of comedy, nuances and emotional instances.
