Excited About Sharey Showlo Series? Delve Into the Details of The Upcoming Bangladeshi Suspense Thriller

Sharey Showlo is yet another addition to the suspense thriller genre that OTT platforms have made viewers take a huge liking to. The secrets that lie hidden and the fear that sometimes accompanies them is a kick that’s one of a kind for the audience. And director Yasir Al Haq has apparently incorporated a lot of it in his upcoming show.

Floors in buildings have often found themselves showcased in movies and shows, especially in thrillers. The feeling of confinement adds to the feeling that there is no escape or if there is, it will be tough to find. And Sharey Showlo (16.5 or sixteen-and-a-half) further makes things more tightly intertwined. A secret, a conspiracy and a murder, the perfect combo.

Sharey Showlo Cast

The cast of the Bangladeshi series includes Afran Nisho as famous lawyer Ashfaq Reza, Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed as Reza’s wife Ayesha, Intekhab Dinar as corporate Manager Rakib, Shahed Ali as Gaffar, Imtiaz Barshon as ADC Altaf, Afia Tabassum Borno as PR executive Natasha, and Zakia Bari Mamo as television journalist Rini.

Sharey Showlo Plot/Storyline

To the whole world, Ashfaq Reza is a very famous lawyer. But there’s more to him and his gun than meets the eye. He likes everything about beautiful women “except” when they are being disloyal. Does this have something to do with his past? As he and another woman named Natasha arrive at Floor 16.5 of what seems to be a hotel, followed by others who all have their separate issues with Reza, we realize that Reza does have a lot of enemies or at least people who he may have unintentionally hurt a lot in ways more than one.

This is when Natasha is killed. We hear a gunshot, followed by which we see her bloodied self on the ground, struggling to breathe. Reza is thought to be the murderer, but clearly, he is not. Altaf, Rini, Gaffar, and Rakib; each have their own motives and maybe mutual ones too. Some even want to stop Reza from appearing in a court of law for a very crucial hearing the next day. So is the murder a way to stop him from appearing in court?

If that is the scenario, then the hearing definitely has got something to do with the murderer. Whether it is the work of just one person or that of more than one person, is something that Reza has to figure out as soon as possible. All the evidence that he has at his disposal is on Floor 16.5. Will it be enough? Will he be able to do it in time?
