Despite their best efforts, their attempts to maintain control over their worldly offspring seem futile.
Amidst the chaos of their daily lives, the couple decides to retreat to their countryside farmhouse for a much-needed break. With each passing moment, his malevolent influence tightens its grip, ultimately revealing a horrifying truth: he has clandestinely possessed their beloved daughter, Janvi. Twitter is currently inundated with an overwhelming influx of praise for the exceptional quality of the movie, particularly lauding the stellar performances of the cast. One tweet, in particular, captures the sentiment succinctly, stating, “The first half of the film was simply mesmerizing. The acting, for the most part, was commendable, although there were a few instances of overacting by Madhavan. Despite a slight dip in momentum during the second half, the film maintains its gripping intensity throughout. The pre-climax to climax sequence was executed brilliantly. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it.”

Additionally, another tweet adds to the chorus of acclaim, asserting, “For those seeking an exhilarating cinematic experience, #Shaitaan is an absolute must-watch. It breaks free from convention, delivering a truly exceptional blend of suspense and intrigue. What an extraordinary combination of talent!”
The Indian horror genre often faces criticism for its lack of innovation, but this time, this particular movie is breaking through the stereotypes and gaining immense praise. Some are even going as far as to say it surpasses the original. Following the success of Drishyam, this film stands as a testament to the quality, earning accolades comparable to its predecessor.

Another Twitter user succinctly captures the essence of the movie: “This film takes you on a roller-coaster of thrills. The first half is brilliant, setting the stage for a gripping narrative. The second half seamlessly blends drama, emotion, and suspense, culminating in a shocking climax. Ajay Devgn delivers a top-notch performance, complemented by R. Madhavan’s outstanding acting skills.”
