Drishyam 3 Review On X: Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat’s Face-Off Has X Calling It a Gripping Finale

Drishyam 3 Review On X: Vijay Salgaonkar has spent two films proving that sometimes a common man can outsmart an entire police system with little more than a stack of cinema tickets, a suspiciously convenient timeline and an almost terrifying amount of preparation. Now Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has finally arrived, and X (formerly Twitter) has predictably lost it collectively.

The early reactions to the Abhishek Pathak directorial are largely enthusiastic, with several viewers praising the twists, tension, performances and the climax. There is one name appearing alongside Ajay Devgn: Jaideep Ahlawat, because apparently Vijay Salgaonkar needed yet another person capable of making his already complex life considerably worse.

Drishyam 3 Review On X: “BLOCKBUSTER” Is Doing a Lot

For a franchise that has spent years building its reputation around suspense, the biggest question was always going to be whether the third chapter could actually stick the landing. According to several early X reactions, the answer seems to be an enthusiastic yes.

User @PrincePrithvi gave Drishyam 3 a 3.5/5, calling it a “proper sequel” with a “[perfect ending” and praising the film for remaining thrilling throughout with its twists. The reaction also highlighted Jaideep Ahlawat as a major addition to the cast.

Meanwhile, @VikramPraj39672 went a little bigger with a  4/5, calling the film a “BLOCKBUSTER” while writing, “Gripping writing, insane tension and a terrific #AjayDevgn. Jaideep Ahlawat adds another level of intensity, while the climax truly WORTH IT.” and even mentioned that Drishyam 3 is better than Drishyam 1 and 2 and the Malayalam version with a greater-than sign.

Ajan Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar Remains The Heart

If there is one thing that aligns across X reactions, it is Ajay Devgn. User @abhim3010 praised Devgn for playing Vijay with quiet restraint, razor-sharp focus and the familiar calm-under-pressure quality that has become almost synonymous with the character. The reaction highlighted the film’s family sequences and courtroom confrontation, writing, “The tension in the tightly wound sequences (especially the family scenes and courtroom face-offs with Prakash Raj) keeps you completely hooked.”

Another user, @AmitManoj5, went even further, calling Devgn “MAGNIFICENT” as Vijay Salgaonkar and describing him as the soul of the franchise, and that is perhaps the strange magic of the character. The character does not need a dramatic monologue every ten minutes; the man can just sit quietly, look a little concerned and somehow make you feel like he has already planned three alternate stories and the next 10 moves in the same conversation.

Jaideep Ahlawat Is The New Problem In Vijay’s Life

Almost every enthusiastic reaction mentions Jaideep Ahlawat, and that says something about the film’s central appeal without needing to reveal the actual twists. @BoxOffice_Truth praised Ahlawat’s work, writing, “He adds considerable weight to the proceedings. In fact, his FEROCIOUS face-off with is the HIGHLIGHT of the film.”

Another user, @Dark_shadow___0, who rated the film 4/5, similarly highlighted the intense Devgn-Ahlawat confrontation alongside the sharp twists and powerful climax, writing, “sharp twists, intense face-off with Jaideep Ahlawat, powerful climax Tight, gripping and fully satisfying. The perfect blockbuster finale to the franchise!”

@AmitManoj5 describes the pairing as “SIMPLY MARVELLOUS”, while @abhim3010 called Ahlawat a phenomenal addition who brings a cold, calculated authority to the film.

Tabu Gets Her Flowers

Tabu’s performance has also received praise, particularly for the emotional dimension she brings to the story. User @BoxOffice_Truth highlights her portrayal as a grieving mother still driven by revenge, describing the performance as a combination of grit and vulnerability.

Prakash Raj also gets a special mention across the reactions. The user @aavishhkar rated Drishyam 3 3.5/5, calling it engaging and entertaining while also refusing to pretend that it is completely flawless, further adding, “DRISHYAM 3 delivers what it promises. It has a screenplay that offers plenty of twists and turns, along with a satisfying finale, but leaves you with some unanswered questions and a mild loophole as well. A hiccup in an otherwise fairly exciting thriller.”

The Climax Seems to Be the Big Talking Point

User @AmitManoj5 called the climax powerful, convincing and thoroughly satisfying, while @Dark_shadow___0 praised the powerful ending alongside the twists and Devgn-Ahlawat confrontation.

Other users have also described the ending as “perfect” and “worth the wait”.

That matters because Drishyam 3 is not just another sequel releasing with familiar faces, but it is explicitly positioned as “the conclusion” and when a franchise has trained its audience to obsess over details, everything starts to matter more.

So What Is X Saying About Drishyam 3?

The early X reviews are overwhelmingly towards thriller mode, activated. Viewers are praising the screenplay, tension, performances and twists, with Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar once again emerging as the emotional and narrative centrepiece. Jaideep Ahlawat appears to be the fresh addition that gives a much-talked-about confrontation to the chapter, while Tabu and other actors also receive mentions.

There is, however, a small thread of criticism, but the larger conversation seems to be about the feeling of watching the movie on the big screen one last time. The film has even been called better than its own first two parts and the Malayalam version.

Early X reactions put across a feeling that Drishyam 3 has given its audience exactly what they came for and a climax people clearly wanted to talk about.
