Secrets of Summer Season 2 Ending Explained: Does Steffi Win the Girls Jump Competition?

Netflix has released Secrets of Summer Season 2 and the show seems to be back with a bang! An Argentinian musical mystery drama, the series is created by Jorge Edelstein with Mauro Scandolari as the director. It is produced by Non-Stop and released by Netflix. The writers for the show include Jorge Edelstein, Celeste Lambert, Paula Velayos and Clara Charrúa. Federico Rivarés serves as the cinematographer for the series.

The cast for Secrets of Summer Season 2 includes Pilar Pascual as Stefania Navarro aka Steffi, who is essentially the protagonist of the show. Alongside her, we have Abril Di Yorio as Luz Aguilar, Víctor Varona as Antonio, Guido Messina as Julián, Francisco Bass as Ron Navarro, Giulia Guerrini as Natasha, Luan Brum as Charlie, Agustín Pardella as Noda, Byron Barbieri as Ian Navarro, Martín Tecchi as Augusto Montero and Débora Nishimoto as Irene. In the second season, we see the entry of a new character called Oliver, who Natasha had given a call at the very end of the first season. Pasquale Di Nuzzo plays the character, who happens to be Natasha’s brother!

There are a total of eight episodes in the second season. The runtime for the episodes is 30-40 minutes, approximately. Secrets of Summer Season 2 dedicates itself to showing how Natasha and Oliver, who paid off the debt of the hotel and bought half of it are hell-bent on making life miserable for Steffi. Meanwhile, Steffi tries her best to connect with her long-lost sister, Luz and, their mother, Cynthia. However, Natasha announced a new competition in the hotel named ‘Girls Jump’ whose winner would be the actual winner of the wakeboarding competition we saw in the first season.

Although Steffi is reluctant at the start to participate in the competition. But, ends up competing anyway due to the support of Tony, Luz and Julian. So, does she win the competition this time? Because the first time around in the Summer Crush competition she came second to Natasha.

Secrets of Summer Season 2 Ending Explained

During the prelims for the Girls Jump competition, Steffi fails to qualify but, Luz does. However, Luz steps back and lets Steffi be the one who can move up the chart and compete in the top five for the trophy. Steffi does not let her sister’s sacrifice go to waste. Natasha does pretty well but, Steffi beats her anyway.

Steffi gets 97 points, the highest in the competition and wins. Additionally, her air trick is one that is masterful and secures the deal for her. However, before she goes for her final round, she clarifies her differences with Natasha.

At the end of Secrets of Summer Season 2, we see that Steffi and Natasha are friends again and, promise to never fight over a guy like before. In this case, it was Santiago. All of Steffi’s relationship, be it with Tony or Luz or Julian, remain strong and the hotel is saved once again!
