The holiday fever is not quite over and won’t be till the year ends and Scrooge A Christmas Carol is yet another thrilling dive into the miraculous and bright celebration, but with a character who’s not so jolly as others. Actors including Luke Evans, Olivia Colman, and Jessie Buckley will be voicing the various characters in the animated film.
Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming December film based on the novel by Charles Dickens with a musical feel-good twist to the story. London is prepping for the cheerful holiday and the dazzling visions of Christmas eve are breathtaking indeed. However, this happy-go-lucky mood is contradicted by the grim and cold outlook of Ebenezar Scrooge, who wants nothing to do with the festivities and holes up in his house.

With all those opposites of happiness ruling his mood, he doesn’t see his new guest coming – a ghostly genie granting him the chance to meet three visitors who will then demand him to negotiate with the bygones, his present, and thus impact his nearing future.

It looks like something in the past affected him to a great extent for him to turn into this mean-spirited version of himself. One of his visitors, however, shares a word of advice, “You can’t change the past but you can learn from it” and now he must get ready to “live his life now, in the present”. This is then followed by “the triumphant musical climax of this celebration” and a recurring note of “I love Christmas …”

The upcoming movie is set to be a family treat reminding you of the goodness of this incredible holiday time. It doesn’t matter if you’re Scrooge himself. At the end of the day, all we want is happiness and someone’s hand to hold on to. Get ready to feel that X-mas goodness in the chilly yet colorful air. So, prepare your tubs of popcorn for the soon-to-come snowy December night, and gather all your family members because we’re all steering into the past to deal with our animated demons and make things right in the present.
