Andor Episode 10: One Way Out
The death of Ulaf in the last episode of Andor has clearly left everyone shattered and moved. Additionally, the treatment Bix has received from Meero has been triggering enough too. It seems like it is just the right time for the real rebellion against the Empire to start- the one that we know of, the one that led from Rouge One to New Hope.
Andor Episode 10 starts with making the long-drawn escape plan a reality and with ‘not more than twelve’ guards on each follow monitoring the prison, it does seem like an achievable task. But, of course, an escape plan needs enough cooperation and ultimately, the higher cognitive brain to plan and execute it which is what the tenth episode essentially deals with. But, with Cassian on the team, it does seem like a job that can be wrapped up as perfectly as possible.
Another thing that this episode focuses on is, again, the Empire’s tiring efforts to hunt down everyone who is not on their side. We get to know how the ISB is preparing to entrap Anto which is clearly not a piece of good news for the Rebel. But, are all lives more important than power and accessibility? Well, Andor Episode 10 lays down to answer it all.

Andor Episode 10 Ending
At the end of Andor Episode 10, we finally see an escape plan being executed. However, like always, this plan isn’t without challenges and to escape the prison, everyone must swim to the nearest land, which, unfortunately, is not possible for Kino who does not know how to swim. We don’t exactly know if Kino took the final jump into the water or not but, it is very much possible that he must have stayed back at Narkina 5.
There was another big reveal in this episode, which is Supervisor Lonni turning out to be a Rebel spy! He warns Luthen about the trap that is being laid out for Anto and asks him to be aware Anto of the same. But, Luthen refuses to save Anto which might lead to Lonni getting caught because it is too high of a risk. And although Lonni says that he won’t be able to do all this anymore, Luthen reminds Lonni how deeply trapped he is in this circle of Fascists and Rebellions and there is nowhere else for him to be.
Meanwhile, it is seen that it is Cassian and Melshi who make it to the shore alive.

Andor Episode 10: Final Thoughts
Overall, Andor Episode 10 covers the key aspects on which the show relies on- a fascist government, a never-ending rebellion and all the people tangled in the crux of this story and where they stand in their lives. The episode gives a technical as well as an emotional jerk, with especially Stellan Skarsgård absolutely stealing the show in the last segment. Nearing the end of the series, the show feels too good to be true and too soon to be over.
