Salman Khan on Getting Rs 1000 Crores for Bigg Boss 16, “If I Get That, I’ll Never Work in My Life”

Salman Khan is back with Big Boss 16 and the excitement is something we can feel in the air. This season the tagline for the show is ‘Game Badlega, Kyunki Bigg Boss Khud Khelega!’ which has increased much talk amongst viewers if the titular voice that we have been hearing over the years will finally reveal itself or not.

However, irrespective of Big Boss reveals itself in this season or not, we have a revelation on how much Salman Khan is getting paid or at least, what he plans to do after he gets paid the rumoured 1000 Crores that he is apparently charging for the show.

When asked by actor Gauhar Khan, a fellow ex-BB contestant, on stage if the rumours surrounding Khan getting paid Rs. 1000 Crores for the show is true or not, the Radhe actor was hilarious with his quirky reply. Addressing the question, Khan said, “If I get Rs. 1000 crores, I will never work in my life”. On cue, the crowd roared with laughter. The star also added, “But, there will a day when I will get it. And, if I am getting this also, if this is the price then, I have a lot expenses such as that of lawyers that can be taken care of.”

While in conversation with Gauhar Khan, Salman also talked about the competition in the reality television world that is increasing day by day. The star shared a valuable statement in regards to the same, saying, “The more the competition, the better it is. The competition will only bring up our level and others too and, ultimately will bring up the level of reality television shows. Competition only takes you forward, unless you want to cut someone.”
