The latest crime drama’s ending was quite spectacular and filled with twists, but what really happened to all the characters is what we will find out in Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo ending explained. Created and directed by Homi Adajania, the Disney+ Hotstar series is written by Saurav Dey, Nandini Gupta and Aman Mannan. While the dialogues are written by Karan Vyas, and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. There are 8 episodes in total with a runtime of about 50-55 minutes.

Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo Ending Explained
It is a story about a group of women, which includes the matriarch Savitri, her daughters-in-law, Bijli and Kajal, and her daughter Shanta. They live in a secluded village named Hastipur, amidst the landscapes of desert in the north-west. Savitri, also referred to as Rani Baa by everyone, runs a company named Rani Cooperative, trading in products ranging from medicinal herbs, and balms to textiles.
However, it turns out, the business is just a front for the biggest drug cartel being run in South Asia. At the helm of it all is Rani Baa, who now seems to be thinking of transferring the responsibility to her successor, who will it be from her oblivious sons to the hardworking daughter in laws or eccentric daughter, is to be decided.
By the end of the series, we get to know that Savitri has a traumatic past, where his husband was killed while selling drugs and she was sexually assaulted by the group of same men, including one of her acquaintances. However, she kills the man but when she returns to her village, finds the wife of that man dead from hunger & poverty as well. She is thus forced to undertake their son, who grew up to be Dhiman.

While Rani Baa kept her own sons away from everything, Dhiman became her right-hand man who took care of the business. But when everything gets revealed to Harish & Kapil, his legitimacy to become the owner starts to dwindle. Also, his affair with Shanta could become the reason for being thrown out of the family or even losing his life.
Rani Baa gives everyone the ultimatum till Janmashtami, the day when she will announce the heir to everything she owns and until then, the members have a chance to show their capability as the head. This creates a conflict in the family as Bijli & Kajal found it unfair since they have helped in building the whole empire from the start.
Externally, the Monk had an ongoing grudge against Savitri, since she is causing hindrance in his drug cartel ring. He had been trying to remove her out of his way at once but all attempts have been unsuccessful. Alongside him, the police inspector, Prasoon Jain is more than ready to expose the illegal business & make his name.
In the last episodes, we see that Monk attacks the Haveli a day before Janmashtami but Rani Baa is all prepared to take him & his men out. She even becomes successful in getting to him but at that moment, Saheb Ji comes with the police and puts all the blame of running a cartel on him. This saves Rani Ba from getting exposed but now she owes to Saheb Ji, who could ask for anything in return.
Even Prasoon is abducted by her men when he was trying to get all the cocaine packets from the goat’s stomach. As the Janmashtami celebrations come to an end, they gather around him & Rani Baa asks who is brave enough to kill for their sake. While Dhiman is ready to take him out, Prasoon pleads to talk to her once as he had something to say.
As everyone was waiting outside, it turns out that he abducted Rani Baa at gunpoint & flees in a car which gets steered into the river, while she was trying to save herself. While Prasoon’s body is not recovered, Rani Baa is found dead. After the funeral, as the family gather to hear her will & get to know who she chose as the owner, the Monk appears & kills the lawyer. It is revealed that Saheb Ji was helping him as well.
He burns the will before anyone gets to read it & as he is about to kill the other members, Kajal points the gun at Shanta & reveals how she was the one working with the Monk all along. Previously, we saw that she gave birth to a stillborn but in reality, the baby was totally fine but Rani Baa gave it up for adoption. The same kid is now living under Monk’s care & that became leverage to get her to work with him.
She also kills the man who trafficked her as a kid & is about to leave to reunite with her son. That’s when Cheema starts talking & flashbacks of Rani Baa saying that let the enemies show their colours first, she will get them when they think they have won. Soon we get to know that Rani Baa is actually alive & the body that they found was of Naina.
It was her plan all along to kill Naina & use her as a body double by morphing her body with visible marks, just like Rani Baa. It means that Prasoon was in on it too & he is alive as well. While the show ends with Rani Baa’s reveals, we can only imagine that she takes care of the Monk at last & as for the owner of the cooperative, as long as she is there another family head won’t be coming along.
