Ryan Reynolds Gives Taylor Swift a Hilarious Nod for Red Notice’s Success

Red Notice has successfully created an impression on its opening day and star Ryan Reynolds seems to be quite happy about it. The Deadpool star plays the ‘World’s Greatest Con-man’ alongside Wonder Woman Gal Gadot who poses as the world’s greatest art thief and Hollywood’s rock Dwayne Johnson who plays the role of an Interpol agent. The 2021 film is an action-comedy directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.

Coincidentally, all the stars seemed to align in favour of the film when Taylor Swift too released her re-recorded version of the 2012 album. Red (Taylor’s Version) which seems to be a massive hit greatly contributed to Red Notice’s success due to the keyword for both being ‘red’. Reynolds, who is a close friend of Taylor’s let his funny genes tingle when he took over Instagram to pay a hilarious tribute to both their successful projects.

Ryan Reynolds on Taylor Swift

Red Notice is now becoming Netflix’s biggest opening day ever making Reynolds crack this hilarious joke. Check it out on his Instagram below!

Given that Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively are both major Swifties, it was a funny as well as a beautiful way to give a shoutout to his friend. But, well, this isn’t t the first time the shoutout game has taken place.

Previously, the couple’s daughters- James, Inez and Betty- all three received secret shoutouts weaved in Taylor Swift’s song lyrics. In fact, it was Taylor Swift’s song ‘Betty’ from her 2020 album Folklore that revealed the name of the couple’s youngest for the first time. So, it is very apparent how the duo is friends with Swift.

You can watch Ryan Reynolds Red Notice now on Netflix. Meanwhile, Red (Taylor’s Version) is available to stream on Spotify.
