Rise & Fall 2: Siwet Tomar Evicted: In the third episode of Rise & Fall Season 2, what began as a conversation about who was worthy of becoming the Ultimate Ruler quickly turned into a full-blown physical altercation between Siwet Tomar and Shehzad Poonawalla, ending with Siwet being evicted from the show. Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel also chose to walk out, questioning the circumstances that led to the fight while arguing that Shehzad’s role in provoking the confrontation could not be simply ignored.
The episode had barely allowed the contestants to settle into their new equations before everything really “blew off”.
Rise & Fall 2: Siwet Tomar Evicted: It Started With the Ultimate Ruler Race
The entire mess began with the “Ultimate Ruler race” which is essentially the biggest power game inside the Tower. The Ultimate Ruler would have the most authority in decision-making and in being safe from the week’s fall. Before the actual race could begin, the Rulers had to identify the “weakest decision-maker” among them and remove one contender from the race, and that is where Siwet’s name started coming up.
Several contestants picked Siwet, with Shehzad also naming him, with the reason that he uses abusive language, which the latter does not support. Siwet was eventually removed from the race, but he got an opportunity to name the Ruler he considered the weakest to be removed from the race. Siwet chose Shehzad.
Shehzad then picked Karan Patel, who then picked Swara Bhasker, and Swara chose Raj Grover, finally giving the three contenders for the Ultimate Ruler Race: Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Tej Pratap Yadav and Irina Rudakova.
Game to Personal Equations
The Siwet-Shehzad equation had clearly become complicated as the two had decided to play together in the beginning. The voting brought a crack in whatever understanding they had, which became messy when Siwet was seen sitting with Swara and attempting to clarify things with her.
This was notable because Siwet had previously indicated that he did not want to speak to Swara until she apologised for the remark that had upset him. Shehzad suddenly entered the conversation between the two and called him out.
Shehzad questioned Siwet’s changed equation, and Swara herself got involved, questioning Shehzad about what exactly his issue was, and the argument kept climbing.
Siwet And Shehzad Get Into A Physical Fight
The verbal confrontation soon changed its shape and turned physical. Siwet was seen grabbing Shehzad by neck/collar and pushing him down. Shehzad was left injured, and his clothes were torn in the fight. Other contestants immediately intervened while medical assistance was called in, and Shehzad was taken for medical help, and an announcement stated that he was fine but had been advised to rest before returning to the game.
The show’s subsequent announcement made it clear that physical violence was prohibited inside the game and reiterated the rule concerning sensitive subjects, including religion and politics, which the contestants were expected to avoid discussing as part of the game’s rules.
Siwet Tomar’s Journey In The Game Ends Abruptly
The decision came down quickly that Siwet Tomar was evicted from Rise & Fall 2 following he physical altercation. Several contestants were not convinced that the entire situation could be reduced to just Siwet’s physical action.
Karan Patel questioned why Shehzad’s part in the confrontation did not face any consequences while maintaining that provocation had contributed to the escalation, and said he wanted to leave with Siwet. Swara too expressed the concern.
As the lift came in, Swara and Karan too walked into it with Siwet as they wanted to talk with the team; Swara’s argument was that she was involved in the entire situation.
The other contestants had mixed opinions: when the contestants in the Basement were informed about this, they felt that physical violence should not be tolerated and that the entire game itself is about “self-control”.
Rise & Fall is built around power and alliances, and Episode 3 of the season offered a different version of it. Siwet is out of the game, according to the episode, and Karan and Swara also chose to walk out in solidarity with Siwet.
