Revenant Episode 4 Prediction

In the previous episode’s ending, Hae-sang faces the possessed San-young, who killed his mother. Moreover, the detectives Mun-chun and Hong-sae find a CCTV footage where San-young vilely looks at the cafe owner bruising himself. Now that the detectives who’ve been suspicious of San-young find evidence, they will come after her to know the truth.

Hae-sang, who wants to know the evil spirit’s origin and the reason behind it killing his mother, will take any steps to protect San-young. San-young, who has no idea why her father got her involved in the mess, will be greatly affected, but somehow she will get through it in order to find out about her late father’s plans.

The two detectives, along with Hae-sang and San-young, will eventually be confronted by something evil and supernatural in the upcoming episodes. So episode 4 will be yet another set-up for that. Since Hong-sae likes San-young, there is a chance of he not going too hard on San-young for her presence at crime scenes.

Revenant Episode 3 Recap

When Hae-sang and San-young reach the urbanised Jangjin-ri, they learn about the town’s past through an old man who claims that his younger brother lived there. San-young finds out that the old man’s late younger brother was close to her late father Kang-mu. In order to find more details, she receives the man’s granddaughter, Lee Tae-yong’s details.

On the other hand, the detectives find a link between three murder cases and are in pursuit of Lee Tae-yong since she has gone missing after her three friends died by suicide. When Mun-chun, Hong-sae, Hae-sang, and San-young cross paths, all of them learn about Tae-yong’s debt issue that caused the mess.

The detectives arrest one of the money lenders on time while he was assaulting Tae-yong. They learn from her that she persuaded her three friends to loan out money from the money lender (a cafe owner), which ultimately resulted in their deaths. Previously, San-young comes across the same cafe owner when she was searching for Tae-yong. When she finds the truth about his fraudulent activities, he threatens her, but just then, the evil spirit takes over her and attacks him.

When the detectives go to investigate the crime scene, they find the cafe owner severely bruised. The detectives then find CCTV footage showing San-young smiling at the owner, harming himself. In the end, Hae-sang meets with the possessed San-young and exchanges a short chilling conversation.
