Fans of the heartwarming romance can rejoice as the Red White and Royal Blue sequel is announced! Amazon Prime Video has officially greenlit the sequel to the beloved film, with stars Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez set to return and grace our screens with their undeniable chemistry. The first part certainly captured everyone’s hearts and left us craving for more, and now it’s time to be happy as it is returning soon.
Based on Casey McQuiston’s acclaimed young adult novel of the same name, Red White & Royal Blue captured hearts worldwide with its enchanting tale of love transcending borders. The original film followed the whirlwind romance between Alex Claremont-Diaz played by Taylor Zakhar Perez, the charismatic first son of the United States, and Prince Henry Nicholas Galitzine, the charming heir to the British throne.
While plot details for the sequel are being kept tightly under wraps, anticipation is already mounting among eager fans who can’t wait to see what new adventures await our favourite characters. Matthew López, who penned the screenplay for the first instalment, will once again lend his talent to craft the script for the sequel, teaming up with Casey McQuiston to ensure that the magic of the original story is preserved.
Joining them in the creative process are the powerhouse producing duo Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter of Berlanti Schechter Films, along with Michael McGrath and López himself. McQuiston will also serve as an executive producer, ensuring that the sequel stays true to the spirit of the beloved novel.
With the return of Galitzine and Perez, fans can expect more swoon-worthy moments, heartfelt exchanges, and perhaps even a few surprises along the way. As the world eagerly awaits further updates on this highly anticipated sequel, one thing is for certain: Red, White & Royal Blue continues to reign supreme as a beacon of love and acceptance in a world that can never have enough of either.
