Red Rose Ending Explained

Red Rose Season 2 might release in 2023 or 2024.

It is understood that the Red Rose app is run by a group of dark web users and not by any supernatural entity. The app’s founder initially creates it to make Alyssa fall for him; however, the other users of his app, especially the gardener, misuses it, causing both Alyssa and Jacob’s life.

Now that the dark web users manipulated the code, they first plotted Roch and got hold of Wren. After seeing Wren’s bravery, the Gardener tests her patience. The series ends with Wren figuring out that the people who died were murdered and didn’t die by suicide.

Ultimately, we also see how Wren gets lured to the place by captivating her father, Rick. Due to her anguish, she ends up murdering the supposedly Gardener. Rick, who has returned from prison after manslaughter, decides to take the blame for murdering the gardener to save Wren’s name. Meanwhile, we can see that Jaya has deleted the Red Rose app, at least, that’s what we think so.

But in the end, we see a woman who says that nobody can delete the idea of the app. Jaya asks whether she is the real Gardener, but the woman shrugs and walks away. We are then introduced to some teenagers in Japan. One guy receives a text from an app that looks like a gold rose, and it asks him whether he wants to live.

Is Red Rose Season 2 Coming?

The ending hinted that there might be a season 2 because we’re left with many questions. Who actually manipulated the code? Who is this gardener, and why did the woman help them save Wren? What is going to happen to the Japanese teen? Is Red Rose turning into a new app with its new logo in gold? Will Wren actually bring justice to Roch’s and others’ deaths? Will Rick come out of prison? All these questions will be answered only if there is another season.
