Pseudo Harem Episode 4 Recap

This charming episode begins with a heartwarming scene where Rin role-plays with her friend Megu to ease her troubled heart. Rin has Megu pretend to be her senpai, and she playfully confesses her desire to date him. However, Rin lacks the courage to say these things to the real person, and she finds herself lamenting the situation where she has to involve her friend in such a way.

In the next part, we see Rin dozing off in front of Eiji. He then gently engages with her, responding to her sleep-talking, which leads to some hilarious moments as Rin blurts out whatever comes to her mind. The scene becomes even funnier when the topic of an indirect kiss arises, and neither of them handles it with maturity. Yet, despite all this, Eiji remains oblivious to the fact that Rin has feelings for him.

Another amusing scene occurs when Rin attempts to wink but struggles, while Eiji effortlessly pulls it off. The more Rin tries, the more she hilariously fails to keep one eye closed while keeping her mouth shut, making for an adorable yet comical moment. Another delightful segment features Rin pretending to be the school nurse after Eiji gets hurt. Her impressive acting skills shine through as she playfully adds a new character to her ever-growing harem for Eiji.

Pseudo Harem Episode 5 Review And Recap

Pseudo Harem Episode 5 Review Rin's Sister Is So Cute!

Today’s episode starts with the introduction of a new character, and it is none other than Aya, the younger sister of our lead, Rin. Aya is an extremely cute girl who quickly makes Eiji her fan. He dotes on her just like his own sister, and we get to see a very nice and heartfelt moment where our protagonists, along with Aya, look like an actual family.

Here, we also meet a lazy version of Rin, who just wants to be spoiled by her senpai.

In the next segment, we enter into the famous summer vacation mode, where high schoolers go out to have fun. But, sadly, our protagonists have no plans. However, they do have each other, and thus, they spend the summer vacation together. At first, we see our couple going to the summer festival, where Rin tries her best to keep Eiji and herself separate from the other members of the theatre club.

Later, we see Eiji and Rin going to the pool along with Rin’s sister and her friend. Eiji has the time of his life, but he also quickly gets tired after playing with the kids. Finally, he spends some alone time with Rin and even compliments her swimsuit, which makes her and us equally giddy.

But Rin and Eiji are not the only couple in this episode. When Rin and her family go to her grandparent’s town, there we meet Shiro, Aya’s friend. Aya starts to act like Rin in front of Shiro, who quickly catches feelings for her and gets hilariously shy and awkward in front of her.

When he asks Aya why is she acting so coy in front of him? Aya innocently remarks that she is just copying the spoilt version of her sister. Sadly, Aya could not understand why her friend suddenly started to blush and ran off towards the sea.

Verdict

Today’s episode was again delightful and cute. The addition of Aya made the episode even better, and she is officially one of my favourite anime sisters. She loves her sister and even goes along with her antics when she acts lazy. Her story with Shiro was also cute, and I would love to see them more often.
