The question of who is the murdering fanatic from the beginning of the season is a question everyone has been waiting to get an answer for throughout the season and, we finally have a nail to hammer on. However, without many revelations, this article focuses on how Pretty Little Liars Original Sin strengthened the franchise’s reboot game, gave us some cutesy little easter eggs and provided us with a real yet horrifying story.

They keep on investigating Angela Waters and find some interesting clues that lead them to discover some unpredictable things.

They do try to hide some details which come to light soon enough and with that, we also discover who is our anonymous villain, what the person wants and why is the person targeting the next generation of Liars.

Pretty Little Liars Original Sin Finale could feel like a letdown in some aspects. For instance, the involvement of two characters in playing the villain did seem far-fetched. However, it was also more grounded and real, be it about the bullying of Angela Waters or the cold-blooded revenge game played by Archie. Some plot twists were predictable if you have been an observant viewer and some might just hit you like a truck on an empty road. But, overall, it set a perfect series of events in motion that was hugely reminiscent of the original series.
The cast has been stunning and beautiful. Be it Imogen’s motherly instinct kicking in on the brink of threats from ‘A’ or Faran and Mouse challenging their mothers or Tabby and Noa’s trauma, every beat was perfectly put forward by the new but talented cast. Fans have been raving about the performances and it is all worth the hype.
Pretty Little Liars Original Sin Finale: Final Verdict
Pretty Little Liars Original Sin has become a memorable show in a very short period of time. The finale was engaging enough and, with that cliffhanger ending, the petition for a season two is already on the loose. The theme song is one of the best in recent years where you modernize a classic and still make it charming enough and not really ruin it. The introductory credit too has been brilliant. The actors and the screenplay is the highlight of the show.

Nonetheless, there have been times the narrative felt like a drag and dialogues did not seem fleshed out enough. Apart from the Liars, we do not really spend enough time with the other characters to understand them or where they come from to get a clear perception of their actions. This might just be something the makers can actively work on to make the upcoming seasons more empathetic for the audiences.
You can watch the Pretty Little Liars Original Sin now on HBO Max.
