Pretty Little Liars Original Sin: Who Is A? What Does He Want From the Liars?

Pretty Little Liars Original Sin is nearing its end. The show has been really good and intriguing so far and, we hope the makers keep it that way. Instead of wrapping everything up in a jiffy of three ending episodes, a second season will be very much appreciated. However, the news about who is ‘A’ is supposed to be out by the series finale and we cannot help but already point fingers at some characters who are giving us all the creeps.

Developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, Pretty Little Liars Original Sin is produced by Muckle Man Productions, Alloy Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television and is the reboot of the iconic teen drama of the 2010 Pretty Little Liars. The cast includes Chandler Kinney as Tabby Hayworth, Maia Reficco as Noa Olivar, Bailee Madison as Imogen Adams, Zaria as Faran Bryant, Malia Pyles as Mouse Honrada, Alex Aiono as Shawn, Mallory Bechtel as twins Karen & Kelly Beasley and, Eric Johnson as Sheriff Beasley amongst others.

With only three episodes remaining, let us dive right into the theories surrounding who is or can potentially be A in the show!

Pretty Little Liars Original Sin Theories on Who is ‘A’?

Sheriff Beasley

Tom Beasley has seemed like a shady character from the start. From being suspicious and creepy to doing things that clearly reflect the fact that he might just be a really violent person. Our theory is that the town’s Sheriff was romantically involved with Angela resulting in the poor girl getting pregnant and delivering two babies- a set of twins: Karen and Kelly. However, Angela’s unprecedented death traumatized him and he ended up marrying Martha.

However, he could never let go of the insult Angela faced and thus, started his revenge plot against the Liars’ mother and directed Karen and Kelly to torture the Liars’ daughters at school. It clearly explains why Faran even felt that Kelly seemed much like Karen initially as it could be because the sisters faked one’s death and took turns to pretend to be Kelly. Beasley, of course, did not want a torture less punishment for these people and thus, asked Kelly/Karen to help him out by getting the girls out of the police mess. Moreover, an investigation would just show that Karen is not actually dead.

Chip

Hasn’t Chip looked a bit offbeat and shady for the past couple of episodes? Especially, tagging on to do the health class assignment on handling a baby with Imogen? Is he the father of Imogen’s baby and he feels bad about assaulting her and never letting her know and this is his way of redemption? Well, you never know. However, one thing is for sure, that ‘A’ is someone really close to the girls if not already a part of the gang.

Karen & Kelly Beasley

We have said it once, we will say it all over again that we don’t think Karen is dead. We think, she is undercover and taking turns with her meek sister Kelly to exact revenge on our girls. The sisters are clearly working either with their father or at their father’s command.

Wes

Wes is a character that has always felt out of place in the Pretty Little Liars Original Sin universe. His affection towards Tabby exhibits Lolita-like vibes and the way he goes on about horror films could be more than his obsession, he can very well be his research on how to attack Tabby and her friends and make the Liars pay. Another reason we say ‘A’ is inspired by a horror movie is because of how similar his mask is to Michael Myers from the Halloween film series.

Wes can also be Angela Waters’ son whom she conceived during high school and when she needed her friends to support her, they kicked her to the curb. It also makes sense as Wes is a bit older compared to Tabby and her friends.

Angela Waters’ Family (Father/Child)

This theory is similar to Wes and the Beasley twins but, it can also be someone we really have not seen before. But, if anyone, it should be Angela’s family members, be it her father or her son who are seeking revenge for her death.

Imogen’s Baby’s Father

Another figure we are not aware of, but is ever so pretty subtle in every frame for Pretty Little Liars Original Sin. It will not be shocking to see that ‘A’ is in fact the man who assaulted Imogen and got her pregnant. It will not be shocking either if it turns out to be someone from this list or a character we already know in the show.

Meanwhile, you can stream all the episodes so far of Pretty Little Liars Original Sin now on HBO Max.
