Pretty Lethal Ending Explained
The film starts with a gang of bickering ballerinas on their way to Budapest, getting stranded in the middle of a dense forest when their bus breaks down. Desperate to get to their showcase at all costs, they take shelter at a nearby inn, hoping to wait till the bus is repaired. Already uncomfortable in an odd situation, however, things take a turn for the worse when one of the men belonging to a powerful mobster family, Pasha, tries to assault their coach. She rejects him, only to be shot dead seconds later.

With a dead body and five witnesses, the proprietor of the inn, Devora Kasimer, decides to take matters into her own hands and get rid of the ballerinas, hoping to get an audience with Pasha’s father, Lothar. However, things quickly get out of hand as the leader of the gang, Bones, takes up the responsibility of saving their lives and getting to their destination.
Do the girls survive?
Although everyone around them underestimates their talents at first, it soon comes out that the girls are more skilled than one might think as they use their unrelenting training to take up arms and fight the mobsters. With skill, dedication and extreme discipline, they take down the mobsters one by one and survive the ordeal. Although they face several groups of people, they ballet their way out, although they face some small setbacks as well.

What happens to Devora?
In a surprising twist, it comes out that Devora has been asking for Luther’s audience because he had cut her leg off and taken away her chance to be a ballerina when she was young. Still reeling from the heartbreak of not being able to follow her dreams, she has sought revenge all her life and, with the girls’ arrival and the situation escalating, she takes matters into her own hands and asks Luthor to come to her inn to save Pasha.

When Luthor finally arrives, she asks the girls to get away as she puts bombs all over the establishment and eventually blows the place up with everyone inside. The girls get away safely and are able to drive to the recital, where they perform flawlessly, using their newfound camaraderie.
