However, the ending of the first season also introduces a mysterious twist that suggests Eric’s journey may not be over yet. The protector is mysteriously revived into a full entity, suggesting that he has become more deeply connected to the supernatural world and the creatures he has been protecting. This is what sets the stage for the second season to explore the consequences of his sacrifice and new life.
