Percy Jackson Episode 6 Release Date and Preview: Hermes, Lotus Casino and Magical Traps to Hinder the Quest

Percy Jackson Episode 6 Release Date and Preview: The live-action Disney+ TV series has found some credibility with Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri playing the titular trio roles of Percy, Annabeth and Grover respectively. Created by the author of the loved book series – Rick Riordan – and Jonathan E Steinberg, the new TV adaptation of the demigod world just produced Percy’s sour encounter with cousin Ares (Adam Copeland) in the fifth episode, which has further redirected the main characters to a new destination, to meet yet another godly figure.

While the ultimate goal for Percy and his friends is to discover the whereabouts of the stolen master-bolt wielded by Zeus himself, this great quest has also subjected them to many grave dangers. Up until now, the trio has met up with quite a few gods and monsters including, the God of War, the Mother of Monsters, the God of Fire (Hephaestus) and others, but more such meetings, even more intimidating than the aforementioned are coming up soon. Here’s when the next episode will come out and what to expect from it.

Percy Jackson Episode 6 Preview

For the next step of their quest, Percy, Annabeth and Grover will be paying a visit to Hermes (played by Lin Manuel Miranda) at the Lotus Casino in Las Vegas, suggested as a hanging out spot for the messenger to the gods. As per Ares’ snarky piece of advice in Episode 5, if the trio does well at getting good with Hermes, his personal driver can get them all to Los Angeles, i.e. where the opening gates to the Underworld are located.

Considering what happened in the books and all that has been hinted at in the next episode’s preview, the three young quest undertakers will be entering the Lotus Casino, where they’re likely to be trapped for days until it finally hits Percy that people have been stuck at this place for years, but they seem to have no clue about the passage of time.

Also, much like how a Nereid (sea nymph) helped out Percy before, it seems that he’ll be facing a similar situation especially since a water scene also plays out at the end of the promo. In the Lightning Thief book, the same Nereid met Percy later (before he stepped foot into the Underworld) and passed him three pearls, which are used by the trio to ultimately flee from the Underworld later on.
