Percy Jackson Episode 5 Release Date and Preview: The live-action Disney+ TV series has come alive with Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri playing the titular trio roles of Percy, Annabeth and Grover respectively. Created by the author of the loved book series – Rick Riordan – and Jonathan E Steinberg, the new TV adaptation of the demigod world has now wrapped up the first half of the first season on Disney+, with Episode 4 introducing the viewers to the vicious Mother of Monsters, Echidna, played by Suzanne Cryer.
While the ultimate goal for Percy and his friends is to discover the whereabouts of the stolen master-bolt wielded by Zeus himself, this great quest has also subjected them to many grave dangers. Onto the next step in the fifth episode, they’ll be coming across yet another intimidating god and will be tasked with a new challenge. Here’s when the next episode will come out and what to expect from it.

New episodes are expected to drop every week on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Episode 5 will premiere at 7:30 am IST, or 9 PM EST (a day before) on Disney+.

As per the upcoming episode’s promo and what’s already revealed in the first book of the series, for the next step of the quest, Percy, Annabeth and Grover will come face to face with the God of War, Ares (Adam Copeland) himself, also Clarisse’s dad.
On realising that he’s practically invincible in the water (following the plunge to his death after facing off against Echidna in Episode 4), Percy will be healed of all his injuries and reunite with his friends.
Upon resuming their arduous journey, they will next meet up with Ares, who’ll be recruiting them for a task in exchange of returning a favour, and possibly even lending more information about Percy’s mother. This new twist will take the trio to Waterland, where they’ll be tested yet again by all the traps set inside the Tunnel of Love, or as the books refer to it as the Thrill Ride O’ Love.
In the process, while Percy and Annabeth’s unlikely friendship will inevitably deepen and blossom into something more profoundly heartfelt, Grover will also play a pivotal role in driving the action. Tune in next week to find out how the beloved heroes will make their great escape from the Tunnel of Love and even strike an encounter with the three Fates.
