Pandora Beneath the Paradise (판도라: 조작된 낙원) is a Korean thriller action drama that brings the story of a woman who has to reach the top to protect her family. Directed by Choi Young-hoon, the drama stars Lee Ji-ah, Lee Sang-yoon, Jang Hee-jin, Park Ki-woong, Bong Tae-kyu, and Shim So-young, alongside other cast members.

The story brings the life of the presidential candidate Jae-hyun’s wife Hong Tae-ra who recalls her memories from the past and is confronted by a truth that was different from what she thought. Now, she has to reach the top of the power ladder to protect her family.

Pandora Beneath the Paradise takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:10 PM KST timeslot previously held by Crash Course in Romance.

Disney+ synopsis of the show reads: “Hong Tae-ra leads a life envied by all, with a perfect husband and a lovely daughter. However, her life takes a turn when repressed memories resurface.”

Directed by Choi Young-hoon, the drama stars Lee Ji-ah, Lee Sang-yoon, Jang Hee-jin, Park Ki-woong, Bong Tae-kyu, and Shim So-young, alongside other cast members.

Yu-ra’s death leaves everyone in despair while Hae-soo and Tae-ra come to a common ground and get ready for the challenge ahead of them. Meanwhile, Jae-hyun confronts Do-jin about Yu-ra and tells him to clean up his mess so as to not get caught in the murder investigation.

Pandora Beneath the Paradise Episode 4 Recap

Episode 4 brought Hae-soo to the truth while Tae-ra finds out about Jang Geum-mo’s involvement in the former’s father’s assassination. Elsewhere, Jang Geum-mo tries to force Jae-hyun to leave Hatch but is unsuccessful when the latter let him know of the evidence that he holds against him.

Following this, Jae-hyun meets Do-jin and Sung-chan and tells them the reason he had Red killed was that its seizures were not related to the smart patch but the anxiety that came after going on stage. He then reminds them of the reason they are doing this and calms the two down.

Later, Tae-ra finds out that Hae-soo knows about her true identity and panics when the latter takes her daughter from school and doesn’t return until late. Meanwhile, Yu-ra tries to approach Do-jin but fails and is made to leave only to be caught pleading to Do-jin by Sung-chan. She then tries to escape with his research files only to be caught by Sung-chan and later murdered by a mysterious man.

On the other hand, Tae-ra tries to stop Hae-soo while overtaking her car but gets into trouble when a truck is seen running towards her.
