Pandora Beneath the Paradise (판도라: 조작된 낙원) is a Korean thriller action drama that brings the story of a woman who has to reach the top to protect her family. Directed by Choi Young-hoon, the drama stars Lee Ji-ah, Lee Sang-yoon, Jang Hee-jin, Park Ki-woong, Bong Tae-kyu, and Shim So-young, alongside other cast members.
The show will have 16 episodes and takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:10 PM KST timeslot previously held by Crash Course in Romance. Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 15 has a run time of 60 minutes.

Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 15 begins with Tae-ra tearing up in misery while Jae-hyun celebrates after having won the elections. During his victory speech, Tae-ra arrives with a bouquet and congratulates him, however, she is unable to stop her tears and can only cover up her emotions with an excuse.
Suddenly, the media present finds out about the arson incident at the temple and begins discussing it while Jae-hyun shows his concern. Tae-ra then remembers the words of her brother which seemed like his last which once again fills her up with emotions as she promises to take her revenge.

The next day, Jae-hyun decides to start his work as the elected president by first making a visit to the burnt temple with Tae-ra. He asks about the situation there after which he addresses the media offering his condolences and making a promise to build the victims a memorial.
Meanwhile, Tae-ra tries to find out if the victims have been identified in order to check if her brother and Kyo-jin made it out of there, but doesn’t succeed after much effort. Elsewhere, Hae-soo is approached by her boss to come back to work after her coverage of Geun-mo’s arrest.
She tries to refuse but doesn’t succeed much in doing so, however, she is more concerned about Do-jin at the moment and contacts her co-worker only to find out that Yeon-hwee has taken the position as the acting Chairperson. Meanwhile, Yeon-hwee addresses the board of directors after which she asks her assistant to check up on Kyo-jin who has supposedly left for the U.S.
Upon reaching her office, Yeon-hwee is met with Hae-soo who asks her why she put Do-jin behind bars only to be called naive by the former who laughs at her behaviour. Elsewhere, Tae-ra kneels at the memorial inside the temple and regrets not being able to save her brother again when suddenly the device on Sung-chan’s wrist gives her more information.
She hears Jae-hyun and Sung-chan discussing the overall situation from having managed to fool Yeon-hwee, to getting rid of Su-jeong and using Pil-seung as his test subject. She also hears Jae-hyun give Sung-chan a video and their plan to leave Hae-soo helpless by making sure that Do-jin stays behind bars. Anger fills her up yet again as the will for vengeance grows stronger.
Meanwhile, Hae-soo arrives at the prison and tells Do-jin that he is free to leave as his father proved that everything had been done by him and not Do-jin. This makes him visit his father who first scolds him but soon tells him that it was Yeon-hwee who instigated him to murder his friend all those years back.
This shocks him as he finally comes to terms that he will now not see Yeon-hwee as a mother any longer. Elsewhere, Jae-hyun receives news about the positive feedback from the public when his attention shifts to the news where Hae-soo is seen reporting about the illegal lab in the temple premises which is being connected to Yeon-hwee and the Kumjo Group.
Soon, Yeon-hwee arrives and questions him about what is being shown on the news after which she drops the news of Do-jin’s release which surprises Jae-hyun. Yeon-hwee then storms out to return when Tae-ra enters her car and reveals the truth about Kyo-jin’s situation and how Jae-hyun has been lying to her this whole time.
Later, Jae-hyun and Sung-chan contemplate how the footage from the lab was leaked after which the former brings his focus on Hae-soo and plans to have Yoo-tae take care of her. Tae-ra overhears this and tries to save her friend.
Meanwhile, Hae-soo is almost kidnapped by Yoo-tae until Do-jin arrives and saves his wife. On the other hand, Jae-hyun tries to contact Yoo-ate but fails when Tae-ra arrives and offers to have a drink. However, this is her plan to have Jae-hyun unconscious while she lays her trap for the next day.
She first checks the footage he gave to Sung-chan and finds out that it is that of 7 years back when Sung-chan almost killed Kyo-jin. She then shows the footage to Yeon-hwee along with the recorded conversation between Jae-hyun and Sung-chan who blew up the laboratory with Kyo-jin still inside.
This fills Yeon-hwee with regret as the kneels in front of the memorial at the temple with the file containing information about Jae-hyun’s slush fund. Recalling Tae-ra’s words about cutting off Jae-hyun’s funds, she almost goes to do the same when Do-jin arrives and takes the file from her and leaves while letting Tae-ra know that he has acquired the information.
The next day, Jae-hyun wakes up with a headache and finds Tae-ra in front of him but doesn’t find anything suspicious. He prepares for his inaugural ceremony and leaves the house prepared for the same. He once again contacts Yoo-tae and is assured that the latter is following Hae-soo, unaware that he has already been caught by Do-jin.
He soon reaches the venue while Yeon-hwee arrives at Hatch where she confronts Sung-chan about what he has done to her son while breaking his treasured desk name block. Sung-chan gets irritated by her behaviour and confesses his deeds which only angers her further as she then picks up one of the broken glasses and stabs him in the neck.
She then leaves him bleeding on the floor and now confronts Jae-hyun. Yeon-hwee soon reaches Jae-hyun who is surprised by her arrival but soon understands what happened and he too confesses what he did to Kyo-jin and about his involvement with the laboratory. Yeon-hwee once again tries to attack Jae-hyun but fails as he pushes her to the floor and ties her unconscious self before leaving for his ceremony.
Pandora Beneath the Paradise Episode 15 Ending
Pandora Beneath the Paradise episode 15 ends with upon entering the hall, Jae-hyun finds out that everything that happened in the green room was shown to the people present in the hall which shocks him greatly. Hae-soo arrives in front of him and questions the content of the video while Do-jin too arrives with evidence against him.
This leaves Jae-hyun speechless as he denies everything that has happened, but soon Tae-ra arrives and shows her faith in him which puts him at ease. However, it doesn’t stay for long as the police arrive to arrest him, but the two escape when a power cut leaves everyone presently confused.
Tae-ra and Jae-hyun leave from the back entrance where Hae-soo’s friend is getting out of the car only to be pushed by the latter as the two soon take the car and escape. He calls Hae-soo and informs her of the success of their plan while the police chase the two.
Jae-hyun makes plans for the escape of the family of three when Tae-ra confronts him and tells him that she remembers everything and that her memories were never erased. She promises him that he will never see Hong Tae-ra or Jiu ever again before pulling the steering wheel and making the car dash off the bridge and into the water.
Later, Jae-hyun carries Tae-ra out of the water and worries for her safety before losing consciousness himself. He later wakes up at the hospital while handcuffed to the bed and asks about Tae-ra and how she is doing.
The detectives tell him that there was no Hong Tae-ra with him on the scene which confuses Jae-hyun. His attention is then caught by Hae-soo on the news who calls him the “youngest and unmarried elected president” which greatly shocks him as he requests to visit his house first.
Upon arriving there, he is once again shocked when he finds no trace of his married life and falls on his knees begging for forgiveness.
Pandora Beneath the Paradise Episode 15 Review
This penultimate episode of Pandora Beneath the Paradise has really brought the show to another height as the intensity of the plot gets so much better and proves why this is a Kdrama that cannot be missed. The show has managed to keep the plot intriguing and without any filler from beginning to end and this episode has definitely been a pleasure to watch.
However, the highlight has to be the way Tae-ra wiped out all her memories from the house the couple shared for years and how Jae-hyun’s craziness is so wonderfully portrayed by Lee Sang-yoon upon finding this scene. He has definitely shown that he is the perfect fit for this role as his obsession for Tae-ra as well as power is so evident throughout the show.
Unfortunately, today’s episode also felt like one with some plotholes as Jae-hyun is someone who is shown as someone who is ahead in his game and has his eyes everywhere. But today he failed because he assumed that his wife remembers nothing and it is safe to put his whole trust in her.
Finally, it is almost the Pandora Beneath the Paradise finale and with one more episode filled with a hectic rollercoaster to go, there is only much more to look forward to.
