Oshi No Ko Episode 4 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

A story that could only be told in anime form, Oshi No Ko Episode 4 is the fourth episode of one of the season’s most highly anticipated new anime. Oshi No Ko is a supernatural drama anime being animated by Studio Doga Kobo and based on a manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The episode is also known as My Star Episode 4.

You don’t often get a second chance at life unless you’re one of a thousand different isekai protagonists. Even fewer are born with a lot of privilege in their second chance, much less to the person they adored the most when they lived. So what if she was 16, and you were much older than her? The age difference doesn’t matter anymore because, well, you’re dead. But also because you have been reborn as the son of the same 16-year-old idol.

Gynaecologist Gorou Amemiya did not think his life would turn out to be this way when he agreed to help out his favourite teenage idol Ai Hoshino with her unexpected pregnancy. One thing led to another, and he was dead, only to come back to life again as her son with all his memories intact. He now has the privilege and closeness to Ai that he desires, but the situation is much different now, and for one reason or another, it is impossible to be as close to Ai as he thought.

Oshi No Ko Episode 4 Plot

Again, your guess is as good as mine for this episode, as the show did not give us any hints for what it is going to be aiming for next. Aqua has just acquired his first speck of DNA to test, and he is going to carry that out, but as Ruby was sidelined in most of this episode, she will probably feature heavily in this episode. Aqua’s acting career is just about picking up, and being a part of the production like he just was should be very helpful in that regard.

Oshi No Ko Episode 4 Characters

Aqua has been very controlling of Ruby’s life, and that fact should start affecting their relationship very soon. Ruby is just as much Ai’s child as Aqua, and she holds the same lofty spirit and aims their mother did. The only difference between them is Aqua lived more of a life in his previous life and is smarter and less trusting of the world because of that. Ruby’s sheltered upbringing two times around will not be helpful in any way and might even hurt them.

Oshi No Ko Episode 4 Predictions

The producer will not turn out to be his father, and Aqua’s acting career is going to have to continue because of that. Ruby, meanwhile, is not going to have much luck finding good teammates for her idol group.

Oshi No Ko Episode 3 Recap

Kana follows Aqua around, asking about his career so far, and Aqua relents after learning that she has improved a lot from her time as a child prodigy and now understands the industry a whole lot better. He takes her to the director’s home to talk, and upon learning about who the producer was in her latest work, he agrees to be cast in the same production to collect the DNA from the producer. We get a lot of conversations about acting and what being an actor is all about.
