No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 2 Review: Sensei is on a roll in another world with cute girls trying their best to keep him alive. Let’s find out how this episode unfolds.
No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 1 Recap
The episode begins with Sensei attempting a double suicide with a woman named Sachan. Their plan is abruptly interrupted by a truck accident, sending Sensei to another world. Believing he has entered the afterlife, Sensei soon learns from Annette, his guide, that he is actually in a new realm where he must become an adventurer.

Despite this second chance, Sensei is determined to end his life and overdoses on poison in front of Annette. She manages to save him and tries to persuade him to embrace his new life, suggesting the possibility of a better future. However, Annette is stunned to discover that Sensei has abysmally low stats, making him a weak adventurer.
Convinced of his worthlessness in this new world, Sensei resigns himself to the idea of dying again. Just as he prepares to give up, another girl appears, and the promise of finding someone special convinces him to live a few more days.
No Longer Allowed In Another World Episode 2 Review

Today’s episode again did not let me down, and I was totally entertained by what transpired. The episode starts with two companions of Sensei dragging his coffin along and taking him to the king to have his audience for the very first time. Sensei is impressed with the new town and the new world, but his wish to die with his lover, Sachan, is very much intact.
In front of the king, as well, our protagonist displays no sense of respect, and it is very apparent that he just doesn’t care about what is happening around him.
It is in this court that he learns the fate of Princess Charlotte, who must choose between 2 suitors for her marriage. Sensei and his companions are asked to give their opinions on the matter, and Sensei rightly confronts the king, calls him out for forcing his daughter and kind of insults him. Surprisingly, this kind of act of bravery is a first for Charlotte, who finds a new purpose through Sensei.

But that goal is something that nobody would want her to go through as it involves un-aliving herself. Do not worry, as this is not the end. We are not short of comic scenes or action sequences as a new threat approaches the Princess, who is still very childish and too innocent to understand the act of death.
This anime juggles the concept of life and death very nicely, even though it has a comic setup. We understand that Sensei is not someone who disrespects life or looks down upon someone who wants to live. However, it is simply a choice that does not resonate with him, and he just wishes to opt for the other option. Nonetheless, he has gained some very good friends who will not let him die so easily, and I hope he finally manages to have a positive outlook on his own life.

Verdict
I liked today’s episode a lot and loved that we are slowly getting more to the cast. The journey has finally begun for Sensei, and there is more for him to witness and experience. Just like he helped Charlotte understand her own wants, he might be able to resolve his personal issues later as well.
