Ninja Kamui Episode 6 Review: This episode again was absolutely breathtaking, brought to us by the director of Jujutsu Kaisen. It is one of the best action-packed thriller anime, so let us see how the 6th episode went in detail below.
Ninja Kamui Episode 6 Overview
Ninja Kamui is a captivating Japanese anime series brought to life by E&H Production and Sola Entertainment, with a touch of executive flair from Williams Street. Making its debut on Adult Swim’s Toonami lineup in February 2024, this show has been eagerly anticipated since its announcement in May 2022. Steering the series is director Sunghoo Park, while the iconic character designs come from Takashi Okazaki.

Ninja Kamui first got everyone buzzing when Adult Swim dropped a teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2023. Other than that, the video game version of Ninja Kamui, called Ninja Kamui: Shinobi Origins, is set to come out in the second quarter of 2024.
The theme song, “Vengeance,” by Coldrain, sets the stage as the opening of the show.
I have tried my best to keep the review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are certain elements that I had to mention to give proper feedback.

Ninja Kamui Episode 6 Review and Recap: Higan’s Eternal Sleep

This episode honestly was the most hype of all, as some insane things happened here. First of all, we finally get to see the face of the person who saves Higan. I don’t know about you guys, but I was pretty sure about who it was. Not only that, but this person is also the one who gave instructions to Higan so that he could infiltrate the AUZA city.
So, what is the condition of Higan right now? Well, his situation does not look that good, considering the amount of beatings he received in the last episode. He is informed how, in his current condition, he will not be able to fight or defeat any of the lieutenants, who have the power of those highly advanced battlesuits.
We also discover that these armours are specially made, ultra-high-tech combat suits, designed to work in tandem with the ninja techniques. Apparently, it is the finest gear that a ninja can have, which combines 600 years of ninja tradition and AUZA’s cutting-edge technology.

Thankfully, Higan will have the opportunity to possess the latest model, which is better than every other gear ever made. But before using it, there are certain conditions he’ll have to follow, which is to go into a deep slumber and completely, be one with the suit.
The suit aka, Kamui will give him the highest level of combat potential, but it will also be linked to his brain. The more accurately he will visualize a move, the more intensely the suit will perform the task. But this also means he will be in a sleep he will not wake up from even if his heart stops.
But Higan does not have many choices other than to go through with this and accept his fate for the sake of revenge. We see him come to reminisce about what his wife used to say, which is to be as cold as fire and as hot as ice. This essentially means one can counter any problem with their willpower by being both fire and ice at the same time. She believed this would make anyone invincible, and this single philosophy resonates with the current Higan more than ever.

Verdict
Today’s episode was definitely one of my favourites. Even though I suspected who the whistleblower could be, I was pleasantly surprised by the other shocking revelations in the episode. Other than that, the combat scenes are truly marvellous, where we saw two lieutenants fight it out in their gears. Now, I cannot wait to see how Higan will fare with his new suit in the next episode, where an even bigger battle awaits him.
