Night at the Museum Kahmunrah Rises Again Review Contains No Spoilers
Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again starts with a new night guard at the Museum of Natural History. However, as soon as the sun sets, everyone comes to life. The terrified night guard runs out of the gate in just a few minutes. Theodore suggests to Larry that someone like him should guard the museum. They suggest Nick Daley, Larry’s son, would be a good choice as he knows the museum’s secret and how everything works.
Nick is a college-going teenage boy, an aspiring DJ and an awkward human. When Larry tells him he has to guard the museum at Night as his summer job, Nick isn’t pleased with the idea. However, after a lot of convincing, Nick agrees. Nick thought it would be an easy job, but Kahmunrah returns to life again to make everything worse!
Kahmunrah is the villain from the second film. This time, he wants to rule the world and is unstoppable. Nick and the other good ones from the museum must do everything they can to stop him.

When movies or shows have an open ending, it often gives us a chance to wonder what the characters must be doing. After learning the big secret about his daddy’s night job, Matt Danner decided to tell us what Nick is up to. With the good old characters and their camaraderie, Matt has managed to create a nostalgic mood.

We are also taken to another museum from our regular museum, where others come to life. It’s good to see the story breathe outside the museum. Otherwise, the narrative would’ve appeared suffocated, leaving us with little to cherish. Coming to the drawbacks, despite the nostalgia factor and nicely rewritten characters, the humour doesn’t always work. The jokes are very childish and won’t make a grown-up even smile.

Ben Stiller played Larry Daley in the movies, but here actor Zachary Levi has voiced the character along with Laaa. He has done a good job. Joshua Bassett has voiced Nick Daley, and he manages to bring the fear, confusion and curiosity that the animated character displays on the screen. The rest of the cast has done a good job.
Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again Review: Final Thoughts
Overall, the Disney+ animated film by Matt Danner has its moments. It’s a mixed bag, with our favourite characters returning to have some fun. However, the fun misses the funny often. It’s a good one-time watch.
Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
