Tomorrow: Everything You Need to Know About Netflix’s Upcoming Fantasy Kdrama

Netflix’s Kdrama slate is one of the most polished and interesting ones, with Tomorrow (내일) being the latest addition to the list. As Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Forecasting Love and Weather wrap up in the first week of April, this new fantasy drama is going to make its entry. April is also the month we are going to see shows like My Liberation Notes, Our Blues and other Kdramas airing on the streaming giant.

Created by Studio N, Tomorrow is based on the manga of the same name by Llama. The show is developed by Hong Sook-woo (MBC), written by Park Ran-i, Park Ja-kyung, Kim Yu-jin and, directed by Kim Tae-yoon and Sung Chi-wook. Produced by Studio N, Super Moon Pictures and, distributor by MBC and Netflix, let us take a quick look at some details from the show before its release.

Tomorrow Plot/Synopsis

Netflix’s description of the show reads: “Made half-human and half-spirit by accident, a young man is employed by a company of grim reapers in the underworld to carry out special missions”. The OTT platform further describes the show as emotional.

Tomorrow Cast

The main cast of the show stars Kim Hee-sun as Goo-ryeon, Rowoon as Choi Joon-woong, Lee Soo-hyuk as Park Joong-gil, Park Sang-hoon as young Park Joong-gil and, Yoon Ji-on as Lim Rung-gu. The supporting cast includes Kim Chae-eun as Kim Hye-won, Moon Do-yoon as Jeon Su-in, Kim Nu-ri as Jang Jae-hee, Kim Hae-sook as Jade Hwang, Jo In as Noh Eun-bi, Ryu Sung-rok as Namgoong Jae-su with special appearance from Kang Seung-yoon.

Tomorrow Release Date, Trailer and More

The show is slated to premiere on MBC TV as well as Netflix on April 1, 2022, and will air every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 (KST). It will consist of 16 episodes, each with a runtime of 70 minutes.
