Kiwan is in Belgium to get his refugee status so he can continue to live peacefully without the pressures of an oppressive life and regime. He is in the country with nothing to own, only his wits. Lee Il-hwa will join the project as Marie’s mother, Jung Joo, while Lee Sang Hee joins the project as Sun Joo, a Korean immigrant who Kiwan meets at a factory in Belgium, and Seo Hyun-woo will play Loh Kiwan’s uncle Eun Chul. This is Song Joong-ki’s third project with Cho Han-cheul after Reborn Rich and Vincenzo. This year and the next continue to be one of fruitful work for Song Joong-ki, who continues to be one of the most prolific actors in the industry, acting in films and drama equally regularly. My Name is Loh Kiwan will be coming to Netflix next year.
