My Name is Gabriel Episode 14 Recap

The finale episode of the show continues BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s adventure in the beautiful Italian countryside, where a new day has begun for her and her first task was to pick up the guests. However, it looks like the guests recognize Jennie and the rest of the ride is her denying their claims while assuring that she is Maria and has lived all her life here.

Soon, they reach home and Jennie helps them settle before rushing off to prepare lunch for the guests. She hurries to her mother and the two begin preparing some pasta finifini from scratch while in the studio, Jennie comments on how she should have bought a pasta maker. The mother sends Jennie to pick some sage and soon, the dish is complete and the duo takes the food downstairs.

Jennie serves the food with some wine to the guests seated outdoors and joins her mother for a quick lunch. Meanwhile, the three boys discuss Jennie’s identity, and one says that he saw her face plastered all over his sister’s wall. They decide to ask her again and she persistently denies it while running away.

She tells Jennie to prepare for the dinner party that is going to be held later and Jennie busies herself with setting up the table. Being a perfectionist, she takes her time and after multiple trials, she is finally satisfied with the table she has set up. Soon, the guests begin to arrive and Jennie gets busy welcoming them with drinks, setting up the food, and more.

While the bread gives her a hard time, she cuts, plates, and serves it to the guests. She continues to plate the prepared food and serves it to the guests before refilling whatever they ask for. Meanwhile, her mother sees this from afar as Jennie takes up Maria’s job and gets through the tasks smoothly. The day soon comes to an end and it is finally time for their dinner.

During dinner, the mother shares stories of Maria’s father who painted all the paintings in the house, including those on the walls. The next day, Jennie is out of bed early and rushes to the market to fulfill the shopping task given to her. She drives along the beautiful scenery before stopping and heading to her first stop- a gelato shop.

She treats herself to the dessert before heading to the mart where she gets help from a little girl and other locals to finish her shopping task. With this, she heads back home and is rushed to a quick pizza-making class by the chef. She quickly learns the same and succeeds in making some delicious pizza, after which she is told that she will need to lead the pizza-making class for the upcoming guests.

Jennie is shocked but ready for the challenge after which she is rushed off to prepare some tiramisu by her mother. Jennie heads inside and with the help from Maria’s cookbook, she begins preparing the dessert. While her monologue entertains viewers, she quickly prepares the dessert and heads back outside where the guests have begun to arrive.

Her mother introduces the guests to her who are people Maria has known since her childhood after which Jennie takes the lead and begins the class. However, things begin to get a little overwhelming for Jennie as she helps them out while also preparing pizzas for the guests’ lunch. Somehow Jennie manages to complete the tasks given to her before she heads off to serve the wine to the guests.
