My Name is Gabriel Episode 13 Review: BLACKPINK’S Jennie Charms Us All, and Gabee’s Race Ends With Laughter

My Name is Gabriel episode 13 brings a new guest to the show who is ready to charm us all while Gabee’s adventures come to a hilarious end.

My Name is Gabriel brings celebrities to live the life of another person from anywhere in the world for 72 hours. As celebrities take up the name of another person from anywhere in the world, they spend their time as the said person while living their life. Promising a unique experience to the participants and viewers of the show, we are set for some entertaining content very soon.

My Name is Gabriel Episode 13 Recap

A new guest arrives on the show in episode 13 and it is none other than BLACKPINK’s Jennie, who takes part in the show while in the middle of a very busy schedule. After her striking walk for a fashion show in Capri, she is taken right to the show’s scene selected for her. Handing her a phone which soon gets a call for her Gabriel- Maria, her new life for the next 72 hours begins.

The scene changes to the interview taken for Jennie where she expresses her wish to go to the countryside, and that is exactly where she is taken; to a beautiful Italian countryside. Jennie soon reaches her home for the next three days and is amazed to see a ranch where the horses remind her of a forgotten memory.

However, this is not her stop and she is taken to a homestay area where she finds out that she is the owner of the said homestay. She soon meets her mother, who welcomes her as she shows her around the house and the huge horse ornament collection. Following this, she goes to her room and looks around the place before she is called for an errand.

Her mother asks her to pick some vegetables from the patch outside and Jennie heads out to grab some veggies for lunch. Jennie heads out with excitement as she breathes in the view of the countryside while following her dog to the vegetable patch. However, upon reaching there she is confused seeing the plants there and calls her mother for help.

Soon, the mother arrives and helps Jennie out and the two head back in to make the gnocchi for lunch. Jennie helps her in making the lunch and soon the duo heads to the balcony where they enjoy the view while eating their food. The two share their thoughts, philosophies, stories, and more, forming a beautiful bond that is going to grow stronger for the next few days.

While Jennie enjoys her first day as Maria, she is warned that it won’t be this easy from the next day. With this, she heads to her room where she first enters some words in her journal, washes up, and goes to bed. The next day, she freshens up and heads outside where a meeting is taking place.

She is called to take over the meeting and while Jennie struggles to understand her role as the owner, with her mother’s help, she manages to handle the meeting well. Soon, she prepares for the guests that are soon to arrive before she is sent to pick up the first set of guests. She takes the car and heads to pick them up and soon finds three boys waiting near the location sent.

Jennie tries her best to converse with them as a host and soon is on her way to take them to the homestay. However, soon one of the guests recognizes her identity as a Jennie of BLACKPINK. With this, Jennie’s adventures come to a pause and the last part of Gabee’s adventures begin.

Gabee’s entry in the soapbox race seems to be in trouble due to the overweight vehicle that they have created. With no choice left, they begin to look for alternatives and Gabee rushes to find a tricycle. However, they fail to find a tricycle and have to resort to removing the decoration on their vehicle which is a painful moment as they reminisce about the time spent preparing it.

Soon, they pass the weight test, moments before it is their turn, and soon after a quick practice they rush to the race. Giving a quick introduction and a short performance they begin the race. However, the vehicle soon begins to fail them as the tires bend sideways and the last-minute decorations begin coming out.

Somehow, the team manages to finish the race with laughter and memories that cannot be forgotten. The group then heads to have a quick lunch as Gabee’s final moments as Usiel are filled with memories and happiness. With this, Gabee’s adventures come to an end as the family bids her a tear-filled goodbye.

After this, Gabee is shown a clip of when she came across the real Usiel and he was the one who gave her the red rose during her first day performing at the square. He was also present at the restaurant where she spent her final moments as Usiel. With this, Gabee’s adventures come to an end.

My Name is Gabriel Episode 13 Review

Gabee’s adventures come to an end in this episode and she has made sure to keep the energy until the end, making sure to say her goodbyes with a smile that washes away the sadness from everyone’s faces. While the soapbox race gave them lessons on how to know the rules first, it also brought in unforgettable memories.

Meanwhile, the new guest has us all excited as she brings her charming aura to the countryside and has already charmed everyone there. Jennie is already bringing a beautiful vibe to the show and we are excited for everything that she to show in the following episodes. Altogether, the Gabriels’ adventures continue and we are excited for what awaits us next.
