Cheon Sang-hyuk, a charming fairy renowned for his ability to enchant women, endured a tragic event 500 years ago when his wings were scorched. In a quest for wing restoration, he underwent 27 transformative experiences. However, his 28th attempt becomes entangled with the life of Oh Baek-ryun.
Baek-ryun, a striking woman working as a veterinarian in an animal clinic, grapples with a peculiar curse. Men smitten by her charm inevitably face near-death experiences, leading them to abruptly end their relationships. Despite her undeniable allure, Baek Ryun refrains from pursuing romantic entanglements, hoping to cross paths with a man destined to be her true love.

In episode 13, Sang-hyuk will reveal his true identity to both Jae-hee and Baek-ryun triggering their past lives. There will be chaos between the three Jae-hee might seek revenge for what happened 500 years ago. However, since in his current life he is a very good man he might fight his inner demons to get rid of such thoughts and let Sang-hyuk and Baek-ryun in peace. Meanwhile, the two deities will battle each other and make the story of Sang-hyuk problematic.
Deity of red thread would not allow Sang-hyuk to marry Baek-ryun while the deity of courage will fight to change their story and allow the cupid to experience love. Simultaneously the story of the serial killer will be focused as well, showing us the face of the killer and his/her connection with them all.

The episode opens with a poignant flashback, revealing Sang-hyuk’s happy moments with Baek-ryun, a court lady and maid, 500 years ago. Their blissful time is cut short by the jealousy-driven actions of Prince Jae-hee, resulting in tragedy. In the present day, Jae-hee rushes to convince Baek-ryun that Sang-hyuk is not human. Despite the proof, Baek-ryun remains unfazed and dismisses the revelation, choosing to walk away. However, she can’t ignore the memory of seeing Sang-hyuk’s hands disappear during her hospital stay.
On the mountain, as Baek-ryun completes her 1000th day, Sang-hyuk arrives, and the couple finally embraces, acknowledging their enduring relationship. Jae-hee, observing from a distance, grapples with his emotions. His past life as the prince causes him distress, but he eventually lets go, allowing the couple to relish their moment. Meanwhile, two deities, Fate and Courage, engage in a challenge—one aiming to prevent Sang-hyuk from falling in love with a human, while the other declares their unity.
Sang-hyuk and Baek-ryun embark on a blossoming relationship, going on a date to her orphanage. Concerned for Baek-ryun’s safety, Jae-hee arranges for a fellow detective to keep a watchful eye on them. Simultaneously, the serial killer, Myeong-sik, claims innocence in Eun-seo’s murder, asserting he was at the scene to talk to Ms. Oh. Despite his protest, he decides to take the blame to protect someone else.
During their visit to the orphanage, Sang-hyuk discovers a poster featuring the seven deadly sins, causing him to panic. Uncovering a history of abuse by a female director at the orphanage, he suspects the killer has ties to the institution. Urgently seeking answers, Sang-hyuk confronts Myeong-sik, who, with a smirk, reveals himself as an accomplice rather than the real killer. Alarmed, Sang-hyuk rushes to Baek-ryun’s clinic.
Simultaneously, Jae-hee, sensing something amiss with Myeong-sik, investigates further. As he assists Jeong-ah’s parents with a wounded dog, a mysterious figure drops off another injured dog at Baek-ryun’s clinic. The episode concludes with Sang-hyuk’s arrival, finding Jae-hee already there. However, the revelation of Sang-hyuk’s unchanged appearance since 1993 puts him in a challenging position as all eyes turn towards him, demanding the truth.
