My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 14 Recap

This episode zeroes in on the desperate situation unfolding around the Central Hospital, where Kurogiri is being held. Considered a masterpiece among the high-end Nomu, Kurogiri’s capture is crucial to All For One’s plans.

To reclaim him, All For One sends Spinner, the lieutenant of the Paranormal Liberation Front, along with an army of Heteromorphs. Their fierce determination to retrieve Kurogiri is fueled by more than just loyalty—it stems from a deep-seated resentment. Historically, Heteromorphs have faced severe discrimination, both physically and mentally, because of their appearances. People with more conventional looks often found them unsettling, subjecting them to cruelty, beatings, and even death.

Though things have improved in diverse cities where cultures mix more freely, racism against Heteromorphs remains a serious issue in rural areas and smaller towns. Spinner and his followers’ hatred is rooted in this painful history, and they believe they are fighting for true justice. Disillusioned with the heroes, they’ve chosen to retaliate, seeking an eye for an eye.

Standing in their way, however, are Tentacole and Anima, both Heteromorphs themselves. Anima grew up in a loving family in the city and never faced the harsh discrimination that others did. Tentacole, on the other hand, endured brutal treatment throughout his life but never lost his sense of compassion.
