Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 8 Recap

This episode was a treat for shippers, offering some long-awaited romantic moments between the leads. In the previous episode, Erza encountered her doppelgänger Elkis, who works at the entertainment guild Fairy Nail. Interestingly, all the members of Fairy Nail resemble the members of the Fairy Tail guild. We are introduced to Natsu and Lucy’s look-alikes, Nakku and Lusha, along with Gren, a version of Gray, and Juvina, a twin of Juvia.

However, there’s a twist: their personalities and professions are completely different. Nakku is an actor, Lusha serves as his manager, Gren is a pole dancer, and Juvina is a topless dancer. The rest of the guild members also have roles in the entertainment industry that differ greatly from their Fairy Tail counterparts.

One notable difference is that these Fairy Nail characters have more overt romantic relationships than their original versions. Nakku and Lusha, as well as Gren and Juvina, are clearly in love, offering a contrast to the unresolved relationships in Fairy Tail.

Elkis, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to have a Jellal in her life. She struggles with understanding love, something she must grasp before her upcoming stage performance. This first half of the episode gives fans a bit of relief, especially those who were disappointed that Natsu and Lucy never became a couple in the original manga. At least, the Gray and Juvia ship gets some confirmation, for now.

This episode might show the Fairy Tail members being completely under the control of the White Witch guild. Even friends of Natsu and others are now turning against him and trying to brainwash him as well. We might also see more of the Wood Dragon god and find out how Natsu will seal it.
