My Happy Marriage Episode 11 Reactions: Miyo and Kiyoka’s Prolonged Separation Keeps Fans Restless

My Happy Marriage Episode 11 Reactions from fans are all about Miyo and Kiyoka being separated from each other. The eleventh episode premiered on September 13, 2023, on Netflix. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.

The anime series is directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music. Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

The plot of the show is set in the early fictional years of Japan, where possessing supernatural powers holds the utmost form of respect. However, Miyo, following the death of her mother, leads a rather miserable life with her stepmother and stepsister. As she possesses no power, she is deemed as a useless member of the household, and everyone in the family devalues her. She is married off to a ruthless commander named Kudou, and her life completely changes since then.

In the latest episode, the plot focuses on Miyo’s origin story. It showcases what led her to live a miserable life during her childhood days. We also get a closer look at Miyo’s mother’s life and the sacrifices that she made to ensure that her daughter was protected from all the harm. Which is why Sumi decided to seal Miyo’s powers, and it will only be unleashed when she chooses to do so.

The fans, as usual, take to social media platforms to express their opinions about the new episode. This is the longest amount of time that Miyo and Kiyoka remained separated from each other. It certainly made the fans emotional as Miyo constantly tried to contact Kiyoka by any means possible. The audience cannot wait for the new episode and find out how the story will move forward next.
