My Daemon Ending Explained

My Daemon Plot

My Daemon Ending Explained Can Daemons And Humans Co-exist

In a desolate future shaped by a nuclear blast, young Kento stumbles upon a tiny daemon creature, Anna, and becomes her caregiver. As Kento sets out to save his mom, the story delves into how people can be really mean to these special creatures with powers. Kento, though, is different; he loves Anna like crazy, maybe because he’s affected by the same element that makes these creatures unique.

The series shows how humans can be quick to hate things they don’t get, with daemons facing unnecessary cruelty. The plot is full of twists, including betrayals from unexpected places, making most of humanity seem like the bad guys. Against a backdrop of stunning scenery and a fast-moving story, Kento discovers the world’s darkness, offering a thrilling exploration of courage and friendship.

What happened to Kento’s mother?

Kento decided to go on this whole journey so that he could save his mother. He even took her corpse with him in hopes of searching for a daemon that could reverse time. But that turned out to be a rumour about Kiriko, who can restore things to their original state.

Kento’s mother’s soul does meet Kento inside Anna’s storage for the last time. There, she even forbids her son to try and get her back to life as it is against the natural order. Hence, one wish of Kento remains unfulfilled till the end.

How did Anna and Kento stop Kiriko?

Anna transformed into her most powerful avatar and devoured not just Kiriko but also the missiles that were coming at him. She then kept them locked inside her, along with Kento and his friends.

Kiriko tried to get himself free and attack Kento and Anna, but that did not happen, as within this space, Anna is the most powerful being. She even launches the missiles at Kiriko and completely defeats him. Seeing there are no other ways, Kiriko accepts his defeat and tells Kento that he will put faith in his ideas about making humans and daemons live together in harmony. But he promises to return if Kento fails to do so.

What happened to Anna?

Towards the end, Anna exhausted much of her powers and became weak. After letting Kento out of her storage space, Anna disappears, making us wonder if she has died. But later, we hear her voice when Kento expresses how much he misses her in front of his mother’s grave.

We did not see Anna exactly, but the squeal of her voice proved her existence.

Does human and daemon coexist in the end?

They certainly are in a better place in the end than they were in the beginning. Kento becomes a spokesperson, and he actively works towards a better situation for daemons. The demons also help humans rebuild their cities. And at a conference, we even see Kiriko, who must have come to witness Kento’s progress first-hand. So yes, we can safely say that humans and daemons do coexist in this world now.
