Murder DIEary: Choi Woo-shik, Son Suk-ku, and Lee Hee-jun Team Up for Netflix Thriller

Netflix is on a spree to release some exciting Korean thrillers. The latest addition is a show called Murder DIEary with an interesting cast that includes Choi Woo-shik, Son Suk-ku and Lee Hee-jun. The announcement was made by The Swoon on their social media pages on Friday morning. Strangers From Hell director Lee Chang-hee will helm the show.

The series will focus on murder stories that are accidental. There will be a character who will play a detective who will be investigating these cases. Netflix has brought the viewers some incredible detective series in various languages so far. It looks like the addition of a detective drama in the Korean language will help to boost the viewers.

On their Instagram page, The Swoon revealed that Murder DIEary is just the working title. It means that if they come up with a better one, the show will be renamed to something more exciting. DIEary is a wordplay of Die and diary. So does the detective/s have a diary full of different murder cases he will investigate? Only time will tell.

The Swoon captioned their announcement post, “Swoonies, here’s some exciting drama news fresh out of the oven! ????

Choi Woo-shik, Son Suk-ku, and Lee Hee-jun will star in an upcoming Netflix series called Murder DIEary (working title) about an accidental murderer and a detective in relentless pursuit of him.

This Netflix series will be directed by Lee Chang-hee, who brought us Strangers from Hell.”
