Netflix’s latest Polish adventure movie (Pan Samochodzik i Templariusze) is a good binge-watchable movie and here we bring you the Mr Car and the Knights Templar Ending Explained. The movie stars Mateusz Janicki, Anna Dymna, Maria Debska, Jacek Beler, Sandra Drzymalska, Olgierd Blecharz, Piotr Sega and Kalina Kowalczuk. The movie is based on a novel of the same name written by Zbigniew Nienacki and has been directed by Antoni Nykowski.

Mr Car and the Knights Templar Synopsis
Tomasz is a Polish Indiana Jones whose thirst for adventure has no bounds. So when he finds a Templars cross, he decides to complete the quest by finding the treasure that the cross leads to. But the journey won’t be easy not only due to Adios, the antagonist, who is also after the same treasure but also because the treasure itself is known to be dangerous. Adios has been eliminating his competition so that he can find the treasure in his own sweet time which means that Tomasz’s name is also on his list. He has even killed Tomasz’s close friend Petersen. So Tomas has to be careful.
Laima, a mysterious Yotvingian lady, reaches out to Tomasz; asking him to take part in a competition and help her find the second Templar cross that will lead them to the treasure. Her ancestors hid the cross and even left a clue for their descendants to find it and thus find the treasure. Tomasz though disinterested at first joins the competition.
Since every team in the competition needs to have five members at least, he shakes hands with famed journalist Anka and three kids, codenamed Squirrel, Mentor, and Eagle Eye. Eagle Eye is the one who is most interested in the treasure and accompanying Tomasz who he is a fan of. Adios also takes part in the competition with the same aim. The question is: Who will find the cross and the Templar treasure first?

Did Tomasz find the Treasure?
Short answer; yes, Tomasz finds the treasure at the very end of Mr Car and the Knights Templar. But it takes a lot of work. He was only able to do it by analyzing the notes that Eagle Eye made in his diary. It gave him the location of the treasure, which had got nothing to do with the chamber of the vault’s designer.
The location was in the cross whose sketch Eagle Eye had made in his diary. Had it not been for him, it would have taken a lot of time for Tomasz to find the treasure. Maybe Adios would have found it and used it for his wicked intentions which were perhaps to claim power and bring destruction to the planet.
Why was Adios after the Treasure?
Adios wanted to resurrect his son from the dead. We do not get any information about his past but the picture of his little boy that he carried with him in his pendant proves that he must have died very young. Moreover, the marks on his face also prove that he has been through a lot of adversity. Maybe he got them while trying to save his kid. With the power of the treasure, he wants to bring his son back from the dead as well as take revenge on those who are responsible for his son’s death.
Moreover, the power that he will have will allow him to be the supreme ruler of the potentially entire world. But it doesn’t happen and after the sharp piece of metal pierces him through and through, he finally finds peace and surrenders himself to death, joining his son.
Who is Laima?
It is only at the end of Mr Car and the Knights Templar that we find out the true identity of Laima. She isn’t just a descendant of the Yotvingians, she is one of the 6 very children who are the treasure that the knights found in the Holy Land. This means that not only does she age very slowly (as we see in the movie) but also that there are 5 others like her all round the world, powerful beings in hiding. The secret scroll will help her find these beings who might just be her siblings.
