My Happy Marriage Episode 2 Reactions from fans are emotional as the characters grow closer. The second episode premiered on July 13, 2023, on Netflix. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.

The anime series is directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music. Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

The plot of the show is set in the early fictional years of Japan, where possessing supernatural powers holds the utmost form of respect. However, Miyo, following the death of her mother, leads a rather miserable life with her stepmother and stepsister. As she possesses no power, she is deemed as a useless member of the household, and everyone in the family devalues her. She is married off to a ruthless commander named Kudou, and her life completely changes since then.

In the second episode of the series, she is seen in Kudou’s residence, adopting a new lifestyle. However, when she decides to cook breakfast for him, she faces his wrath instead, as he does not trust strangers. But after the helper assures him that she means no harm, he feels sorry for his actions. Moreover, he also notices that Miyo does not act like a person from a high-status family and tries to uncover the truth.

Fans of the anime are rather happy and satisfied with the turn of events. Witnessing Miyo suffer her whole life receive some amount of kindness, fills everyone with hope for her future. The audience expects the bond between the couple to grow stronger as time passes by.
