One for the Road

Directed by Nattawut Poonpiriya and, produced by the critically acclaimed Wong Kar-Wai, who has given us classics such as Chungking Express, In the Mood for Love amongst others, One for the Road tells the story of two best friends, who embark on a journey after finding out that one of them suffers from a terminal illness. Starring Thanapob Leeratanakachorn, Ice Natara, Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying and others, this film will release on Netflix on May 10.

May 11

The Perfect Family

A Spanish comedy, Netflix describes its upcoming release as the story of Lucia, who is taken aback by her son’s girlfriend’s eclectic family, unaware of how they’ll impact her prim and proper life. Arriving on Netflix on May 11, 2022.

The Getaway King

Also known as Najmro: Kocha, kradnie, szanuje, The Getaway King is an action crime comedy that tells the story of a folk-hero, who escaped 29 times from the cops. Yes, you guessed it right! Based on the life of Zdzisław Najmrodzki, this latest Netflix release will tell us about his life against the system and, how everything changed as the last days of communism embraced Poland.

May 13

Jayeshbhai Jordaar

Superstar Ranveer Singh’s latest, this 2022 social comedy entertainer is directed by Divyang Thakkar and, will tell the tale of a timid man who finally decides to stand up against the patriarchal system of society to protect his pregnant wife and daughter. But, will he be successful? Well, find out about it in theatres as the film arrives on May 13, 2022.

Sneakerella

For lovers of romantic musicals, Disney+ Hotstar has got you covered with its latest release titled Sneakerella. Directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum, the film will feature Lexi Underwood, Chosen Jacobs and Kolton Stewart. The screenplay is written by David Light & Joseph Raso, Tamara Chestna, Mindy Stern, and George Gore II and, is a reimagination of the classic children’s favourite tale of Cinderella, only this time she lives in New York City and wears sneakers instead of heels!

Senior Year

Any Rebel Wilson starrer is always exciting and hilarious. So, we expect Senior Year to be no less as it will star Wilson in the central role. Directed by Alex Hardcastle, the film tells the story of a high schooler, whose cheerleading stunt accident lands her in a 20-year long coma. However, when she wakes up, nearing the age of 40, she is determined to complete her high school journey and become the ultimate prom queen. The film is scheduled to arrive on Netflix.
