The trailer for YRF’s upcoming film, Prithviraj is out now and, fans have been going gaga over the massive historical epic war action the film promises to be. The film will star Akshay Kumar in the titular role and, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar will make her Hindi film debut through this movie in the role of Sanyogita. The cast also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij and Lalit Tiwari will be seen in important roles.
Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films, the wait for Prithviraj has been long and, indefinite. But, now with the trailer finally out, it is only a matter of time before audiences head to the theatres to watch this masterpiece. At the trailer launch event for the film, actor Akshay Kumar talked about how he has completed 30 years in this film industry and, it is the first time he has been part of a historical epic of this grand scale.
The Sooryavanshi star stated, “When Doctor Saabh asked me to play the role of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in this story, it was a moment of pride for me. It felt like my life has been fulfilled that I have been provided with the opportunity to essay the role of such an immense warrior.”

He further added: “First of all, I would like to thank Doctor Saabh, Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. I would also like to thank Adi Chopra, who has procured this film and taken the responsibility to make this film.”
Based on the legendary Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of the Chahamana dynasty king, Prithviraj Chauhan, this Yash Raj Films production will hit theatres on June 3, 2022.
